I'm a vet, this video for me captures some of the elements of combat that are not known to those who have no experience. For example, fear turning to motivation, survival instinct suppressed, anxiety heightening senses, unsure where the enemies is, lots of shooting to unseen targets, thrill of adrenaline rush from feeling the power of your weapon & aiming to kill. Yes, all this leaves deep scares that last a lifetime, on all sides.

At least some will have experience of fighting in the East since 2014, and this war is 3 weeks in now, you get used to it pretty quick. I didn't hear a whole lot of commands being shouted, they're probably better trained than the Russians, and better motivated, but they've a way to go to be the same standard as some of the Western armies. They have balls of steel though 👍🏻😆

Russians have invaded Ukraine...Russians are taking very heavy losses and now there are at least 10,000 dead Russians and 30,000 wounded. Ukraine also has about 2,000 Russian prisoners of war. Much heavier losses than that of Ukrainians. Even if Ukrainians do die for their country, it is not in vain, it is for the freedom of Ukraine, for existance of Ukrainians, a people whom Putin's Russia so desperately wants to destroy.

There was at least one, maybe two RPG-7s (1:24, 1:31), a few other RPGs (RPG-26? 1:54) and at least one NLAW (1:08, 1:27) and AT-4 (1:01, on soldier's back) in that video, too...

Equipping them is about the bare minimum we could do. We're giving them all sorts of weapons to take out tanks and choppers and jets, we should be giving them the jets they want too. Mad Vlad's whole cabinet knows he's insane and won't let him launch any nukes. We do not need to fire a single shot but they know we are just stringing them along and basically using them. The one thing that reassured me throughout this video is that, whenever artillery boomed or shots rang out, not a single one of these men flinched in the slightest. That's very revealing. It tells me that they've been through this before and know what they're doing.
As a veteran myself, I can tell you that artillery is f@cking LOUD!!! It's enough to make you wet yourself if you're not prepared. And though I've never been in a firefight, I'd wager hearing multiple guns going off around you is somewhat terrifying as well.

@@thundercuck1779 There are MANY roles in the military that don't encounter combat or are placed in non-combat areas, the military isn't just planes, tanks helicopters and guys with guns, there's logistics, paperwork, maintenance workers, psychiatrists and doctors. pretty much everything you can think of in modern society, it exists in the military too.

Being in a Russian tank crew is about to become the deadliest job on earth.

@Arthur Flegenheimer it's mud season. There is a reason that convoy is spread out over 40 miles sitting on the highway instead of in formations. They cannot maneuver. The whole advantage of an armored vehicle is that it can move. That's why in urban combat their effectiveness goes way down. There's more places for small pockets of resistance to hide, launch an anti tank weapon and gtfo before return fire can even be attempted. So basically they're stuck on a highway, sitting ducks. Not even counting logistical problems, morale issues, low rations and ammo, just tactically, they're exposed.

If you review the voting at the UN you can see the idea the world is with Ukraine is nonsense. Just India, China, Iran, and the 35 countries that did not vote to condemn Russia comprise more than half the people on the planet. The sooner Ukraine surrenders the better it will be for Ukraine.
