All TVs are assembled in India. India does not have display manufacturing facility and to your discomfort no western country also own a plant. Only China and South Korea is capable of display manufacturing for all other countries it’s all about assembling the Tv.

Koi nahi abhi assemble ho raha hai. Ekdin manufacture bhi hoga. Atleast people are getting job. This is the positive side.
All 65” models seem to have a defect coz the led light is bleeding from the bottom left side and not at all pleasant in brand new TV sets and their customer support simply refused to replace or even repair.

Inside a dust free environment when all staff are required to wear special gears like face mask, hat, robes and gloves, there must be a reason and ALL staff should follow these strict rules. Those 2 staff appear at 2:22 should be fired or at least be given a warning letter. A cough or sneeze could spoil the parts they are handling. This is discipline to make a good brand successful.

By doing this they can cut import duty in to a greater extent. for TV parts only 5% but for whole TV its 35%
By ds procedure we usually save import duty

First of all it's not manufacturing unit. It's just an assembly line... For whole product import Chinese companies need to pay heavy taxes.. It's a new strategy to import spare parts and then assemble here. What a horrible english..

Is Mi 4x 43 inch 4k uhd tv has a 10 bit display panel as claimed by the Company website. ? I have seen many TH-cam review where they say they r falsely claiming that . Is it 10 bit color depth with a 8 bit FRC Panel or truly 10 bit Panel. Also why brightness level is so low of 260 nits. ? Why don't they increase it to 400 nits. Also MI is not mentioning the contrast ratio.

@Adarsh Srivastava I put my comment considering fact that the import duty indian government expect to get from directly importing furnished product from China should be much more than wages/ what they are saying here on name of employment. At such small scale it seems to be more benificial to those companies rather than indian as duty on import of raw material is much less so kind of they get opportunity to bypass import duty. Just fyi, my cousin works in Xiaomi, and he is responsible of clocking of processor for global ROMs and I know how much he is getting for that from last 4 years. Sorry if my comment (as a Kid) hurted ur sentiments.
In world, non of company manufacture all the parts, they will buy n assemble.ofcourse India not yet good in electrical manufacture but at least we are getting jobs as part of asemble.
