great video. noticed you use a Ethernet hub so you can drag from laptop to CDJ's, but you don't have the DJM900 linked in too, and you have the player # on the left CDJ wrong, that's why the right CDJ turns red with the fader on the mixer up, but the left one isn't. Make sure you change the player # to the corresponding channel in the CDJ settings before hooking up the ethernet cable. also link in the DJM900, and use the QUANTIZE button on the FX. this makes the tempo on the FX of the DJM900 read the tempo data directly from the rekordbox file, instead of analyzing the audio on the fly & guessing. This is only possible if the DJM900 is linked into the CDJ's as well & the player numbers are correct.
Thanks for this informative video tho. Too many DJ's I see do not see the benefit of using Mixed In Key or Rekordbox. This really shows off how simple but yet complex you can make your DJing sets with the 2
Honestly, when we recorded the video we didn't have enough ethernet cables. Therefor we just focussed on the points that i was covering. You observations are spot-on and informative. Thanks!

Ming, Do you have anything for Traktor?
Nano. I use those techniques in Traktor on an S4. Now, granted, I'm nowhere near as good a Ming at doing so BUT, I can usually get it done with patience and practice.
I don't really use my synch button for the purpose Ming was but, I also never thought about doing so. I have however, used a transition like he did with going from 200 to 140 bpm.

Maybe lots of people bitter about giving away secrets. I liked it but then the last time I was djing I was scratching with coins on the needles to stop them skipping ;-)
