wow, those are incredible. Thanks for showing your process, seems mine never turn out the way I envisioned. Watching you I see what Im doing wrong. thanks, your work is incredible.
YES. You just need to set your camera up for a long exposure, I think the Pixel 7 has it in the settings =, if not just get an app like Long Exposure Cam. You can capture Light Painting on ANY camera that has the ability to do a long exposure.
I love this. I'm definitely going to try it. One question: how did you light the model? Did you light paint her with a flashlight or with a strobe, or did she just pick up light from the whips?
Yes! Don't forget you also will need a Universal Connector if you don't have one! lightpaintingbrushes.com/collections/fiber-optic-light-painting-brushes/products/light-whip
Hello! There! @Lightpaitingphoto how will i make the object or the persons face bright and focused while doing light painting.... Any instructions by you for this? Please!
Where can I purchase LPB Light whip - can't find it on amazon ::and there appear to be no link in your description. Thanks for any help you may provide...
I loved the tutorial but I'm wondering why was your hand not visible when you brought the whip in front of model. How did you remove yourself from the photo completely?
I have a quick question. How did you get your camera to focus in the pitch darkness before hitting the shutter button? My camera was unable to focus on anything and went on "hunting" mode forever
How To Focus in the Dark: There are two main ways to focus in the dark. The first is you can illuminate the space with either a bright flashlight or if you are inside turn the lights on. With the area illuminated or lights on you focus on your subject using manual or your automatic focus. Once you pull focus on your subject switch your camera back to MANUAL mode and then turn the lights off. If you are outside in the dark or you don’t have a light bright enough to illuminate your subject you can take a flashlight and place it next to or on your subject where you want to focus. With your subject illuminated with the flashlight then you focus on your subject using manual or your automatic focus. Once you pull focus on your subject switch your camera back to MANUAL mode and then turn the lights off.
@@yashindian4233 No It is because of the dark clothing and movement. If you wear dark clothing, do not shine light directly onto yourself and move during the exposure you should not shoe up in the image.
💥✨💥 Greatly appreciate this video. So informative but I only wish that you put a link to that flashlight in the description. You gave the model number but nothing comes up for it🤟🏼
The Folomov B4M is about $40 it fits the Universal Connector well it is 1200 lumens and has a good constant strobe. amzn.to/3oGuLK5 Frank from Light Excursion also makes Custom Lights that are great, they cost a bit more but they have more features, The best way to reach Frank is on his Instagram here: instagram.com/lightexcursion/
This is nonsense .. how u get light to the model.? Y didn't u show that.. light painting with subject is good to see.. but how the model alone got light in the image?.. u didn't show any lighting that u made to the subject.. is that secret of ur image?🤔
Hi Paul. The model is illuminated from the light radiating off of the Light Painting Brushes Light Whip, that is attached to the flashlight using the Universal Connector. There are no secrets that are not being shown, we create these tutorials to inspire and share techniques. If you give it a try using the same lights and camera settings you will get very similar results. Enjoy

Is it possible to achieve this type of light painting using a pixel 7 pro? I'm a total beginner and plan on purchasing some paint brushes soon.
YES. You just need to set your camera up for a long exposure, I think the Pixel 7 has it in the settings =, if not just get an app like Long Exposure Cam. You can capture Light Painting on ANY camera that has the ability to do a long exposure.

Ill take a look at them, the light whip is here: lightpaintingbrushes.com/collections/fiber-optic-light-painting-brushes/products/light-whip
How to set up camera?
Its best to set the camera up on a tripod so that the camera remains steady.
What is a diameter of the optic fibre? 1 cm?
It's about 6mm.
