There are definitely times where the translator in the translation game does the opposite of what the speaker was intending. Usually, when Tom's the translator. He lives to throw wrenches into things. They have a really cool version of this that I've only seen them do once, where they dub a foreign movie. Two of them are the actors, and the other two are the dubbers.
Yeah, I love when they vary up a game. There's so many variations to each one it's kinda crazy. I first got to know the translation game from a different group and they called it sign language interpreter. Two people are having a conversation based on a topic given by the audience and a 3rd person has to interpret it using signs (they can't actual sign language).
@@TheBreadthatcausedLesMisI like that one, my tops are ‘the milkman’ ‘the neighbours under the bed’ ‘the lighthouse’ and my fav ‘the lefternmost window’
Omg I have been waiting for this, I love SFTH so much! I would love to hear your thoughts on some of their longforms, my absolute personal favorite is #22 The Milkman, which I think is also their most watched longform! All four of them are in it and I think it showcases their strengths really well! Loved your reaction❤
This is my first time watching your channel, so i don't know what kind of thing you would like to check out/react. But, for their longform i highly suggest "the unrelenting aubergine". In this longform, each member kinda have a different interpretation of the title, but somehow they manage to create a story with a solid plot that is both funny and wholesome.
I forgot to add, but they have subtitle for every longform. So if you have trouble listening through their accent/the crowd cheers, you can turn on the subtitle
I'd absolutely love you reviewing their longform content, especially the caravan one (forgot the title). Also, please go look at some more of their freeze game, they're usually really dynamic and hilarious. Thanks for reviewing my favourite improv group :)
I think you might mean "No! I always loved that caravan!" and im absolutely with you! its one of my favorites. I also second on the freeze games and party quirks!
I’m so happy that SFTH are finally getting reaction videos, your comments were very truthful, and I really loved watching your reactions to some of their stuff❤ if I were to recommend anything it would be some of their more recent games, and longforms, as they have noticeably gotten better at some of the stuff you pointed out😊
I love these guys! I can't wait to see what you think of their content (I don't have time to watch the full video rn) but just thought I would say as soon as I saw the first clip I knew which letter it was because of the background and their clothes 😂. Also I don't know if this is gone over in the video, but for anyone new to their content: Tom is tall (about 6'5) with black hair. He rarely breaks, and is amazing at monologues. Sam is average height, brown, and usually wears red plaid. He's one if the 4 that is the nost likely to make a dirty/sketchy joke. Luke is the shortest, blond, and also is prone to the iffy jokes. AJ is bald (except in their very first long-form, OMG is this a Joke) and usually wears light colours. He's... AJ. Known for round about idioms (?) and losing the plot in the most hilarious way. Also, these guys are NOT afraid to play romantic characters 😂 As for their long-forms, my personal favorites are #1, OMG Is This a Joke, and #30 The Unrelenting Aubergine. The Lighthouse (#30-something) is also HILARIOUS. shoutout to Leftenmost Window as well (maybe #11?) There's also a bunch of fan edits and stuff on TH-cam, there's multiple channels that regularly post sfth edits, and I've compiled a playlist with over 200 fan made sfth videos. Definitely recommend checking those out if you're interested! Edit: on your comment about Sam saying And! Over and over; boy do they know alot about throwing the others under the bus 😂 the longform Toby's secret pocket is a wonderful example of this Another edit: they do often move a fair bit during Freeze, some of their most recent freeze videos have some great positions 😂
These guys are great. They have a wonderful friendship, and have been working together over a decade. Theu have 2 full shows posted to their channel, and more on their patreon page. They also have about 140 old livestreams from Covid on their Facebook page. They're full live online shows from when everything got shut down. Its a different form if their content, but still have many great moments. I'd love to see you watch more of their shortform content. Some of their recent freeze tag videos are really good, and the book game from their West End Big Boys show is a hilarious example of their dynamic (especially the intro! You need to see the intro!) As for the longforms, I mentioned a couple in my other comment (sorry it's so long btw!) their first posted one is great, it's one of the most popular. They did that show with Kathrine Bennet-Fox, so there's 5 people in that one. #10 is a great one, featuring Scottish Batman. The best part is the entire Scottish Batman plot stemmed off of AJ very briefly misspeaking. #11 is Inside The Mysterious Cube, great example of various parts of their improve talent. Also one of the most well known couples played by Sam and Luke (they aren't a couple, but their characters are in this one) #18, The Excited Chinchilla displays Sam's great ability at playing the villian. Also has some iconic moments 😂 #20 is the Leftenmost window, in which they boys play with their boundaries as improvisers onstage (and occasionally offstage 😂) this one is practically one entire iconic moment. #25 The Evil Make a Wish Kid is another fabulous example of Sam's ability to play villians. Some of my favorites of their more recent ones also are Unrelenting Aubergine, The Lighthouse (Sam can do a really good sheep impression, btw) and Toby's Secret Pocket. This is not saying all their other ones aren't worth watching, absolutely watch them! Most of them are quite good, and anyone watching their content should definitely watch all of them at least once.
The stage with the red curtain is Museum of comedy that stage is nice and wide and has kinda wings but it is not very deep so unfortunately they cannot move but they normally are more physical
Honestly I’d love to see a reaction to their long form play ‘The Unrelenting Aubergine’ I think it rlly highlights their ability to not only have a strong plotline that stays consistent and is filled with meta jokes, but to have interesting characters that are diverse and interesting and understood well by the cast
29:12 I have heard people say that the stage they were on in that video (Museum of Comedy in London I think?) is probably one of the smaller venues they perform at- in other freeze tag videos they do move around a lot more, I think.
Love seeing you react to SFTH. My long form suggestion would be #32 Murders in Space from their West End special. It’s really fun and I think you’d find lots to discuss.
I've been waiting for this! Such a good reaction and it's interesting to hear your thoughts. If you wanna check their longer content I'd suggest to watch an impro play called the Milkman. All in all it's absolutely great and hilarious but it has some parts when I think something wasn't quite good to do. I'd love to hear from a professional point of view on these parts!
these guys are my absolute favourites, so this was so fun and informative to watch! i'm hosting my first improv session this thursday so i was listening Very Diligently, you're amazing!!
These are some of the funniest people on the internet. Glad to see you know about them.

Oh totally, they mess with each other a lot, the best thing about being a fan is that you get all the in-jokes :D
I died when luke said “nyet” and tom went “yes” in HUGE

Thanks for watching them!! SFTH is the most UNDERRATED comedy groups and I'm glad to see people recognizing them!!
One of my favourites of these guys is their Improvised Play #18 The excited chinchilla I always come back to it whenever I need a laugh
"Ah, yes! The good old paella! With the s q u i d. Biig squid! Large. Larger than a man.. smaller than a dream."
I'd say im most fond of #25 | "The Evil Make-A-Wish Kid"
