As soon as I saw the title of the video, that 1995 Nebraska football team came to mind. That squad was ridiculously nasty on both sides of the ball. That was when Nebraska used to literally pound the ball and run all over other squads, which is arguably the hardest thing to do for an offense and is demoralizing to defenses. That squad always reminded me of the movie called "The Program". That team is G.O.A.Ted.

      Colorado ranked #7 44-21
      Kansas ranked #10 41-3
Florida ranked #2 62-24 in the natty and 2 of those TD'S were for all intents and purposes garbage time in the 4th quarter. 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers, not only had the largest margin of victory ever in a national championship up until last year but they also played in the toughest conference in college football history. The 1995 big 8 had half its conference finish the season in the top 10. They all had to play each other and couldn’t avoid playing one another due to divisions. They won all of their bowl games in blow out fashion And Nebraska destroyed them all. Nebraska also beat Florida 62-24 in the title game and that same Florida team would win the national championship the next season.

    YOU RANKED 1995 NEBRASKA #5!?!?
This list loses all credibility. That team would’ve taken 2001 Miami behind the woodshed and beaten them by 40 points.. here’s why:
We’re talking best team and not best players.
Sure Miami players went on to be great and when you look back in retrospective it sure looks like they were great, but that team needed miracle missed FG vs VT and a miracle pick six late vs Boston College to stay undefeated.
1995 Nebraska told other teams what plays they were running and beat them to a bloody pulp. It’s not even close.
If 1995 Florida exists ANY OTHER YEAR, they are top-10 team of all time… AND THEY LOST 62-24 to 95 NEBRASKA (it wasn’t even as close as the final score).
Put some respect on the true kings name. F***in dumba$$ millennial
PS.. NICK SABAN CALLED 1995 NEBRASKA THE GREATEST TEAM OF ALL-TIME THAT SHOULD END THE DEBATE

Not only would I keep the 2001 Hurricanes at number 1, but I would add the 1991 Hurricanes to the list. Maybe the 1995 Nebraska Huskers, 2004 USC Trojans, and 1992 Alabama Crimison Tide. There are some other great teams that would deserve top 10 or top 15 but too many to mention. The undefeated Pennstate team that was ripped off and should have split the title with Nebraska. So many great Notredame, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Michigan, Miami Hurricane, Alabama, and Nebraska teams that deserve honorable mention. The best teams ALL TIME. Those Michigan teams under Fielding Yost were UnStoppable. Those old.Minnesota teams. 1971 Nebraska. 1985 Oklahoma. Etc... When you say all time, you can't just rank the last 4 decades.

    • @DrewAndrews
      @DrewAndrews 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

@daGuwru if you are going to comment, you should at
at least know what you are talking about. Miami was #1 in 1 pole and Washington in the other. Washington throttled Michigan, not Nebraska. And Miami throttled Nebraska. Then they split the National Title.
And whether Washington would have beat them or not is irrelevant. My point was to point out the many different teams that are worthy of mention as 1 of the greatest of all time. The 91 Hurricanes 🌀 was a team worthy of mentioning. I never said they were number 1 or even top 5.
YOU MISSED THE WHOLE POINT. Once again, for those that are a little dense; there are plenty of teams and eras that should have been considered.
This video creator obviously has no knowledge of teams before the 90s. When making a list of the greatest teams of ALL TIME ⏲️ there are far too many eras and great teams to consider. Every Era had all-time teams. This video is not a good representation of the 5 greatest college football teams of all time.

Well said. And nothing but the facts. If 1992 Bama had an offense with a quarterback like Tua or Bryce , Mac or the today Jalen Hurts. Just that one position upgrade would do more for any team mentioned on this list and that is without question. All the teams were so damn fun to hate. To fear. To watch play. To see Deion as a player was like seeing Michael Jackson in the Thriller era. Just simply better than anyone else. 2001 Miami. Speaks for themselves. (And boy do they.)😉 But I would give almost all I have if God would allow a playoff against a legit 12 teams that we can all appreciate and say , "Hey, that team was 'that team ' ", ya know. Bama's 2016 defense if you are real with it. That entire defense plus backups like Levi Wallace and Mac Wilson. Tony Stewart, went on to play major roles for their NFL teams. That 1 second pick play cost that Bama team from always being mentioned among these teams. Were 14-0 playing in the NC game. Minkas class. Them boys ended every single one of their seasons playing for the national championship. 2015,16,17,18. Bama in 2018 closest game before the 2 playoff games was 24 points to A&M. 24 points is the closest they came to losing that season. Then they played cat and mouse with the Heisman winner Arron Murray (19-38 passing)and 1st pick in the NFL draft, all while the Heisman runner-up surgically delivered a 21-24 passing with 4 touchdowns. More TDs than incompletions against the man that somehow won it because Tua didn't finish the Georgia game due to his ankle being reshaped by a 300 pound defensive linemen. 28-0 Bama after 1 quarter of play. We could have scored 70 on that Oklahoma team. Then the every Clemson player tested for PEDs failed so they stopped testing them or forfeit bowl game happened. And that is backed up by facts. Look it up. One ESPN writer wrote an article called. "WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS?" were he explained the reason for the title and then proceeded to basically say. Clemson was almost out of eligible players. If they had just a few more failed test. They would be forced to forfeit the game, this causing ESPN to have to payback all the money that they had already received and spent on game commercials. Ticket sales. The companies would have taken everything they could from ESPN. So the decision was made. Stop the testing. The money is more important than the game. A freshman quarterback does not score 44 on Alabama's defense without the bigmen upfront on both sides of the ball being jacked up from youth , athleticism, practice , and talent alone. Bama had that in spades. What Bama did not have was a single sack by Quinnen Williams. Not even a QB hurry by Williams. We were winded before halftime. Honestly ask yourself the last time you saw a Bama defense that has a crazy hard 4th quarter program with their hands on their knees before halftime. You havent. I believe the linemen on both sides for Clemson was jacked on the juice for that game and it shows. In ways that make you say out loud. What is going on here.? Something is just not right. It's called ESPN wasn't about to repay that huge amount of money to all those companies over steroids. So they stopped the testing. With of all things. Money.! The NCAA probably didn't even negotiate. Just. Ok. Yes we will stop the testing immediately. There must be and will be a game. And Clemson players know it. Hell a few just for us to hopefully not pay too much attention, suspended Clemson's best Defensive linemen. Look into it anybody that is angry with me right now cause you think Im lying.. It's a well known swept under the rug real event. Sorry Bama. You never stood a chance. The Clemson Tide needed that championship waaay more than us. Sad but true. But. If I had 1 game I could make happen and see. 1995 Huskers vs 2001 Hurricanes. We would all want to know. We would all probably pick that game. Who wouldn't want to know how that one would play out. Peace. 2002 Miami we all know really and I mean really won that years national championship. Pass interference must have happened 2 minutes into their celebration of the win. And boy o girl did those refs look like SEC Officials do these days. Replay showed absolute proof that Miami won that game. But.... they were like. Come on Miami. Ohio State is talking about suicide. Please let them have this.! Please . And the rest is history told the way it did not happen. We Americans are very used to that.! Christopher Columbus 😂😂😂

1995 Nebraska was better than all of these teams when it comes to on-field output, which goes beyond individual talent. They won every game by no less than 14. They beat three top ten opponents during the regular season (two of which were on the road) all by 20+ points. In the national championship, Nebraska crushed a Florida team that came in undefeated, had played multiple ranked opponents, and had won every game by 11+.
2001 Miami needed a late pick-six to escape Boston College, and they barely beat VA Tech. The Nebraska team they beat in the NCG was destroyed by Colorado in the B12 Championship and really shouldn’t have been in the NCG. Individual talent that NFL scouts like is only one facet.

95 Nebraska beat 4 top ten teams. Those 4 teams had 16 players drafted in the 1996 NFL draft. (I don’t know the total they played against but safe to say low to mid 20s)
LSU beat 5 top ten and 2 top 25 teams. Those 7 teams had a combined 42 players drafted in the 2020 NFL draft. The 5 top ten opponents had 33 total and LSU faced 54 throughout the season. LSU played against 14 1st round picks in the 2020 NFL draft. 43% of the first round and 21% of the entire draft class was defeated by LSU.
(This isn’t even including the 14 LSU players drafted)
2001 Miami beat 6 ranked opponents and only 1 in the top ten. Those 6 opponents had 21 players drafted in total. All of 01 Miami’s opponents combined had 27 players drafted.
I looked into it and Nebraska played 29 players who got drafted in the 1996 NFL draft.
So 2019 LSU, while only playing 2 more FBS opponents than Miami and Nebraska, played double the amount of NFL draft picks. 27 more than Miami and 25 more than Nebraska.
