In the previous radio clip that I've translated, we got to know about Itou Miku's audition and this time we got to know a little bit about Matsuoka-san's. It's shame that Taketatsu Ayana didn't talk that much about her audition story in this clip.

Okamoto-san also applied for the audition and was actually frustrated when he failed it, Fuutarou is a very popular character in Japan, so getting that role, it boosted Matsuoka-san's reputation even more as one of the best male seiyuus. And Okamoto-san himself also expressed his feelings regarding that audition during an event where Osaka-san, Matsuoka-san and him were present together.
Kaito Ishikawa too, if I'm not mistaken, since Tsugu-Tsugu mention it in one of the QQ Live Events.
@@grymkryzel2691 Yes, getting to voice Souma and Fuutarou (both very popular in Japan) boosted his already good reputation and many of the male seiyuus were actually envious of him, some of them even mentioned it live. That lead to Matsuoka-san once consulting Kakuma Ai-san when they were promoting HxEros, he had a thought that people might start hating/getting bored of his voice because he gets to voice so many lead characters.
@@GoneBoi99 That's why 2022 Matsuoka didn't get that many new main roles aside from recurring anime series for example like Danmachi.

The only thing more powerful than Matsuoka's enthusiasm is the power of this voice cast! For what it's worth, I think Ayacchi as Nino did a great job imitating the other Quint voices.

Ayana did a really great job voicing Nino and Kei Karuizawa classroom of the elite s2. I really wanna see Ayanokoji voice actor talked to Ayana Kei next.

Even though Fuutarou is a Harem protagonist, it's nice that Matsuoka really wanted to voice him.
At least in my case, being typecasted as the harem guy would be a great way to be typecasted, so I understand Matsuoka.
I mean, he did voice Kirito as well...

Taketatsu is genuinely a nice person, at least that is the impression I got from her throughout the years.
When watching Gotoubun, there's always those 2 things that people might start and wonder why Fu-kun can't tell the quints apart. The voices and hair colour. Eventho yeah it's supposed to be the same, I do actually really like the distinction they do for the viewers.
Ngl, if they didn't it would've been funny to see viewers get tilted for not knowing who's who just like fuutaro or anyone else who isn't a family member of the girls. 😂

It's kinda ironic that Ayaneru-san had voiced all of the Quints and might have the widest range, yet playing a character who can't imitate the others.
It's also ironic that among the female seiyuus, she probably gets along with Matsuoka the least, but she just so happens to voice THAT character.
@@glipmine7109 iirc, ayaneru could only imagine herself acting as Yotsuba(fits her genki girl roles) and no other quint.
So the audition was in actual practice for the other 4 quints

@@marse7306 in the original promotion video of the anime, all of the quints were voiced by Neru. This was changed to 5 different voices because Negi felt that it will be too straining on her.
As a result, Neru got to choose whichever quint she wanted

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka indeed has gotten so many popular roles over the years, especially harem roles. Kirito from SAO would be another big one early on that gave his career and huge head start.

Remember when the PV for the 5toubun no hanayome manga where ayaneru voiced all the quints? I was pretty hyped for the news of an anime adaptation, but sorta disappointed when i knew the quints would be voiced by different VA's since i was really hoping for ayaneru to voice them all like the manga PV...
Then, when the line-up was announced for the quints.. the cast was so 🔥 every hint of disappointment i had flew out the window... each of them breathed life unto the quints we all love.. ayana especially since nino was already my favorite at that time.. her work on S2 made me love nino even more..

Ayana san seems quite warm and nice, completely opposite to Nino, Kaji got quite lucky picking her.
I'm not surprised that Matsuoka san was picked up as Fūtaro because both the character and the actor are quite similar: being reserved and introvert and at the same time awkward, deadpan and a bit goofy. Just like me.
Nino is actually more warm and nice than people realise
@@gamingmysticist6641 I'll admit that, but Nino isn't as warm and nice as her VA, and Nino's stand out feature is how cold and mean spirited she acts when crossed.

Cause it has script obviously there wont be any pause in their conversation
Tbh, Gotoubun is one of the best seiyuu casting in anime production
ayachi talking about imitating others i think she meant, like what she said on another event, she imitated ayaneru voicing all the quintuplets for the PV even before the casting.
Not gonna lie. When it was announced, I assumed Ayaneru would be voicing everyone as it would let "Reina" and the bride have an actual voice and not give away any spoilers through voice. I understand the decision to make it 5 different voices but I was in high anticipation for Ayaneru voicing them all. I'm not saying the cast is bad but I was really hyped for it. Well this let Itou Miku pop off so this was good too.

Aniplex Studio: Ok! Gotobun anime is going to be airred in early 2019! Let's have Bokuben as anime adaptation and airred after Gotoubun but have 2 seasons in single year. Osaka Ryouta as Yuiga Nariyuki(MC) will be solid for this. For the heroine casts, it will be more fancy to have young and junior Seiyuus instead of hiring young veterans. It will be nice to have Shiraishi Haruka as Fumino, Tomita Miyu as Rizu, Suzushiro Sayumi as Uruka, Lynn as Mafuyu and Asahina Madoka as Asumi. Plus adding Oonishi Saori as Sawako. Then we are set!
Check the casting of last season's Shinobi no Ittoki (but don't watch it as it's terrible)-- it's a mini Bokuben reunion. :P

Wish I could see dub version of this like Josh Grelle (Fuutarou) talking about it haha. The closest I found is the dub commentary for S01E01 with Josh and Tia ballard (Itsuki) and a director or something. That was a very insightful commentary actually.
Ohh another anime i got hard time to watch or not 2nd season and movie bcoz of the spoiler . I like the anime but drop it when i got spoiler bcoz the spoiler is not satisfy me
