There are various packages . i took 50$ sim had plenty of data and you can make calls.
There is a condition if you pay by cash packages are different and if you pay by card there is a separate package . i took one with visa card.

As $50, I probably go with esim instead

And btw I was using Esim aswell but I took Turkcell because I had to go to remote areas and Esim didn't work great. I was using Maya Esim and internet quality was just OK as compared turkcell
