    How to resolve relative strength of beam column junctions failures . Pl educate . It's frustrating.

    I was getting failure in my staad model according to is13920-2016 code relative column beam check failed at joint. If i try to change my column size it was again failing since in staad it was taking less than0.8% reinforcement default.. So my column moment capacity reduced at that joint. Looking for your reply

      Use RCDC software. it increases the reinforcement of the column until it satisfy the joint check

    So one thing is very clear staad wont give proper design as per IS13920/2016,
    For this one need to purchase rcdc, very surprise.
    Bently must upgrade staad to design as per all criteria of code itself, why to go for other software for this.
