      @@Kenaz2226 well... ryan bailay pb is 9.88 , but yes gay blake gatlin or powell ran under 9.8 ( sometimes) but 9.86 would still have been a good race for them , and i think it's still a world class chrono , it's not like the perf of the guys of the 90's would worth nothing today you know , at least not on the 100m , that haven't changed that much ( i you put bolt aside)

      Nope. He was supposed to win the 200m. Greene was supposed to win the 100m. Ato stuck to the script. This is pro sports. It's all about the show and drama and entertainment.

      no question, Bailey would have won that shit if it weren't for his injury. I always watch this and laugh at Ato Bolden, who is all cocky is claiming the world record would fall to him and then his ass finishes off the podium but he pretends to be so happy for Mo Greene. what a dick.

    Michael Johnson talking up Ato Bolden (“it’s his to lose??). Not giving Donovan a chance (to whom of course he infamously lost to in that 150m race, pulling up lame after knowing he wasn’t going to win). Never very good as a commentator.

    Does anyone else think that starter was way too fast from set to gun, caught Bailey off guard, probably told Greene they would do it, let him get a rolling start. 😂

    • @CcTitan84
      @CcTitan84 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @costa I agree but I don't think you can discount fast starts as any less of a skill than top speed. Bailey was notoriously bad at starts. It probably cost him this race and from going sub 9.80 but it's a big part of sprinting. Greene didn't have the top speed of Bailey but he was a great starter so I think you have to give credit to him for perfecting that skill.
