Jamie your video was brill too especially in the conditions you had. It was great watching Lewis showing me how it should have been riden👍🏽. Enjoyed the event 100% but found it seriously hard for an old man😉
Very well done Lew! Congrats! And thanks very much for sharing this vid! Really great to see how our local trails are ridden by pro racers like you 😉. Good luck and all the best for your next races!
Well done dude. Solid performance hairy moment on stage 5 with what looked like a skinny lol did well not to lose it there !!! Looking forward to your next one
Love the race vlogs, whether they are just for fun, or a bit more serious EWS ones. I’d be keen to see practice and track walks etc to. Proper looking forward to your future races. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I was randomly at Glentress on Saturday, didn't know there was an event on. Your footage looks like it's sped up compared to my footage lol Good stuff mate
Great footage of the event. Personally, I was at the other end of the field, but it's aways amazing to watch the footage of how fast you're going relative to what I did. A quick question, I found the first stage incredibly greasy at the top and crashed before I really got going, because the front tyre just slipped away. Anyway, I think I was probably running too much tyre pressure in the front. I had 24psi in (no insert) and I am about 82kg with all the gear on. What do you run? Not running for fork super fast, or very compressed, so I putting it down to the tyre. What do you reckon?
Thanks! Aslong as you had fun. So I run 21 psi rear and 19 rear with Cush core inserts! More grip that way, but I struggled with how greasy it was too!
@@LewisBuchanan Yes, I had a good time. I think the course was a a good blend of different trails. It's funny how sometimes there's more grip in the wet in the Tweed, compared to when it's dry, but greasy! Seems like I might well be running to much psi! Thanks
I remember how stoked you were on the optic and now again with the new range. But I can’t remember how you liked the sight, just that it‘s harder than you expected to get used to the new bike (sight). What’s your opinion so far?
Speaking of suspension service, how often do you get yours done? I really should get mine serviced more often, but the recommended 50 hours seems pretty insane 😬
Mate !!!! That look so fast, watching that vid I was even dodging the trees it looked so tight , great riding and a few seconds behind 1st great job 🤙
Thanks Peter!
"Ive got a fan in front of me to cool me down"
Did you give him an autograph
HahHa
Next level riding, held up well! All them stages look great to ride but #2 looks awesome 🤘🏻
Quality as always good to see you in fine form , the new bike seems to be in tune with what ever trails you ride , well done
Thanks
All the stages looked Stella 👌 Another awesome ride from you and remember maintenance is key when you don't have your own mechanic at the event 🤭
Thanks
Bold as ever bud! You literally ride trails twice as fast as us normals. I can't even compute it. 100% respect 👏
Thanks dude

Future looks promising thanks for sharing ace! Respect for not pressuring the dude on stage5👊
Thanks!
Running smooth man! Great watching! Onward and upward (with serviced forks 🤣🤣🤣)
Thanks
Was going to ask if you were doing Hardline this year and I look to see its the next video!
Glad you can see the lines Lewis! Makes me sick just trying to keep up! Shred on brother🤙
Thanks
Amazing riding 👌👏
Glad you didn't bump into any Klingons in the Neutral Zone!
Gratz on 3rd. Def better than a kick up the shirt!
Thanks!
Good work for getting the vid out so quick! Stage 5 is one of my usual runs and it's absolutely mental watching how quick you come down there 😂
Thanks!!!
Always like a video that starts with an “Oh Fu*k!”.
😂
Tanking on as usual. Loved it
Thanks
I'm not surprised you were wrecked from practice, the pace you were doing as you ripped past my marshalling point.
Haha
Funny to see the old school GT black in a race. Nice blend of old and new. Still amazed by your speed though :)
Thanks!
@@LewisBuchanan You still rocking Assegai's front and back in the dry?
Correct
11:50 That's pretty flat out between the trees!
👌🏽👌🏽
Mint video dude.. so fast!!!
Cheers
Smashing it! Sick riding
Thanks!
Great riding buddy
Thanks
Very quick making this video and very quick riding 🔥
Thanks
Lovely stuff. 👍
Thanks

That corner at 18:20 was super quick, my mind went straight on.
Haha
nicely ridden and love the positive attitude to have fun and do your best.
Thanks
After watching this video and then watching mine from the last enduro race I have come to the conclusion that I'm very slow. :D
Keep the Scottish flag flying 🤘
If you were a baseball infielder nothing would get by you. Nice riding!!!
Thanks
Great riding..
4 seconds from 1st to 3rd..... So close.
Next time eh
Aye haha

Awesome. Ah no worries, yeah give it a try

Honestly it’s one of my favourites. More capable than the optic, I love it honestly
Bro i wish you would have talked about why you chose the Sight instead of the Range..? Was the Range just too much for this race?
Range is getting a make over
Speaking of suspension service, how often do you get yours done? I really should get mine serviced more often, but the recommended 50 hours seems pretty insane 😬
Honestly not often enough. I’ve had it done once this year so far
So fast 🤯
Thanks
Great ride mate. You ready for ews round in france?
Thanks, ah getting there. All on the ramp up for the tail end of the season is the plan
If it's hot enough for a fan then take the bloody jumper off your shoulders 🤣
Bloody quality, what pressures were you running for this one?
Thanks! 19psi front 20.5 rear
@@LewisBuchanan inserts?
Action!!!
💪🏼
So fast💯
Cheers
Who gave this video the thumbs down? Miserable twat. Great video, nearly as fast as me 😂😂😂😂😉 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Haha thanks
04:55 this forrest looks dead as f+ck...
On the last stage, you should be pedalling harder on the fireroad!
Haha right thanks for the advice! 😂😂
@@LewisBuchanan haha no worries 😂 I have an xc background so I excel in enduro 🤙🏼
