Half of war is keeping one’s humanity it seems. I have read cases where mercy or turning a blind eye during war helped me have some faith in humanity. Especially during WW1 and WW2 where both sides had a heart in a life or death situation.
We've been in the war from the start, Russia's made the mistake of not escalating quicker. We faced the same thing in Vietnam, and never had the balls to cut the North's supply line. I'm just curious how long it's going to take for tactical nukes to be used and if NATO will fill even slightly responsible to the 10's of thousands of people who will die because of it. And no, I'm not a Russian sympathiser, just think it's not our job to police the world. We can't fix our own problems ATM.
RUSSIAN SARMAT... is Looking as successful as The Russian T 14 Amata 😀😀 Russians prepared a test launch of one of their RS-28 Sarmat ballistic missiles. However, the test failed before it even started. Apparently, the missile exploded on the ground during the fueling process, destroying the silo and most of the launch site., Considering that this was most likely the preparation of another Russian scare tactic, its ending cannot be more Russian than this. It perfectly reflects the (mental) state of this country. , Two years ago Ru propagandists were announcing the first succesfull tests of of the Sarmat. At the time the international community responded saying the tests are actually inconclusive. Seems they were right....... The Sarmat, for now, is just another T-14 Armata 😀😀

Not all of the West underestimated Ukraine, just look at support from each country, look at support/GDP and you will find those that belive in Ukraine but unfortunately those countries are not very large and are not the ones that have influence in NATO since NATO is governed by one large country and three smaller ones, the rest have nothing to say about the politics there, unfortunately.
If I don’t know if you remember, but at the beginning of the war, Ukraine was on its own. The entire world believe the would fall in days. It took nearly a year before they convince the west how serious they were about standing up against Russia. Nobody expected them to put up a fight. And do not forget that half of the congress wanted to break the promise of helping Ukraine in exchange of giving up their nuclear weaponry which led to so many delay that cost many lives. It shouldn’t have take so long for the West to take the situation seriously.

That’s literally the doctrine that has kept us alive for decades and decades now. A tactical surprise strike that destroys the enemy’s entire stockpile before they can retaliate is impossible. My own country used stealth submarines to house most of its nukes. Constantly moving and virtually undetectable. They are a weapon of last resort when the country is on the brink of being lost to an enemy and there’s nothing to lose. Russia isn’t in that position. They are not facing erasure as a sovereign state. Other than that, have you noticed that NATO hasn’t been directly involved with the Ukraine-Russian war? And while Russia is struggling with their air-defense systems, the rest of the world is watching and learning, coming up with new strategies of their own.
Regarding Sarmat, it is meant to replace SS-18 that are Soviet Era weapons that were built in Ukraine. 6 tests of Sarmat have failed so far. How many of Russias nuclear missiles are still operational. Less than 100% is a safe guess.
Moving ammo depots further East or North is useless for them. There is already a huge stress on rail transport, and this will get much worse in the next 2 weeks. There are derailers deployed around the country and will be used shortly. There are 120,000 km of rails that can't possibly be defended. Look at the freight train derailment that just happened today.
It is my recollection that Russian railways are being impacted by the inability to source bearings needed from Germany, thanks to sanctions. As the locomotive and railcar bearings wear down, operating speed must be reduced (or even stopped to zero), further constraining deliveries to the front lines. Maybe someone can provide an update on that.
@@johnthornton2075 that wouldn't be strange.. in WW2 the allies decided that first destroying the main ball-bearingfactories in Germany did more damage to the Wehrmacht than destroying ammo-factories. Ammo is useless if you have no way of transporting it to the army. And if you can't transport it, it makes an easier target for next attacks.
It's not like those people have been doing much in the last few years. The damn death boat can't even move on it's own power, it is tugged everywhere it goes and constantly bursting into flames

Learning about Russian geography based upon which parts are on fire or exploding is a very strange way to learn, and yet here we are.
I can't put my finger on why exactly, but that video of the Russian man with a disability really humanized the costs of this terrible, needless conflict in a way few else has. I really appreciate you including it. I, like many others, have understandably become calloused by the depravities and cruelties of this war, but the Ukrainian people are, as always, showing themselves to be paragons of human decency and virtue with their actions. By all rights, after Bucha, Irpin and so many other Ukrainian cities were turned into the sites of Russian atrocities and Ukrainian mass graves, not to mention the continuous, daily perpetration of war crimes against their nation, Ukrainians should be itching for revenge and totally void of compassion for those who allowed it all to happen. It's incredible, and inspiring to witness such absolute moral certainty and resilience from Ukraine! Thank you so much for including it as part of this video, Jake! Glory to Ukraine! They know, otherwise they wouldn't try to keep NATO intimidated and out of this.
They tell themselves such BS to salve their wounded pride. Helps Rus-splain the whupping they're getting.
If Russia's nuclear weapons are in as poor condition as the conventional weapons, Russia may end up nuking themselves... God forbid, but... the corruption is mind-boggling.
The scare tactic worked. The Russian elite and top brass have never been this scared of actually launching their own nuke missiles as they are now. 😁

The Russian terrorists underestimated Ukraine, The Biden administration underestimated Ukraine, all of the West underestimated Ukraine. Now the entire world will learn what Ukraine is capable of doing when capable weapons are in their hands.
Slava Ukrayini 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
@@Ikkeligeglad Germany had(...) a lot of sway in NATO, but is shadowed by the US, France, and ofc Great Britain. @@MistedMind I don't know how you will convince the German population, and especially those in the old East Germany, that the AfD is bad for the average German, but it probably boils down to the fact that you have allowed too much inequality in the country, especially between East and West and between the rich and the ordinary citizen, I think that especially the low minimum wage helps promote the AfD as those who are the lowest in Germany cannot see that the other parties are doing enough for them.
It's the thirties all over again and that must not happen, the traditional parties, SPD and CDU/CSU must do something for those at the bottom of the hierarchy in Germany, otherwise things will go wrong, very wrong.
Greetings from Denmark
@@MistedMind Everyone here in Europe didn't invest enough in defense and the money we spent we spent on wars that the USA wanted us in and many didn't think that the Russians would become a problem just by trading with them and making the Russians dependent on Europe (Merkel).
However, there were a few countries that saw the Russians as they are, for example the Baltic countries, Sweden and England, now we can see that we were wrong, but our biggest problem besides Russia is the USA and their hesitation to give permission for Ukraine to use all weapons in Russia that they have received and it is because of American domestic policy and I fear for Ukraine and NATO if Trump comes to power because then I think it is over with NATO

Think of all the small unprotected bridges on the rail network, for a high accuracy jet drone!

The jet drones do not have big payloads. Not even the GLMRS did much to bridges. For them you would have to use glide bombs to actually take them out. Otherwise you might poke holes in them but not damage them meaningfully.

It hasn’t sent troops into Ukraine or to attack Russia. It hasn’t even targeted Russia in the slightest of attacks. NATO has Russia crippled and weak without deploying a single soldier. It doesn’t even need to escalate the war-that would be overkill.

Excellent 😊
It is my recollection that Russian railways are being impacted by the inability to source bearings needed from Germany, thanks to sanctions. As the locomotive and railcar bearings wear down, operating speed must be reduced (or even stopped to zero), further constraining deliveries to the front lines. Maybe someone can provide an update on that.
@@johnthornton2075 that wouldn't be strange.. in WW2 the allies decided that first destroying the main ball-bearingfactories in Germany did more damage to the Wehrmacht than destroying ammo-factories.
