The Information on the article on 15th century Ducats was incorrect, as they were composed of only about 3.5 grams of gold. 3 Gold Ducats would weigh only about 0.3375 Troy ounces, Which is around $645 today

Not a single mention of the piracy, genocides, and mass ensavement by Europeans in this period that was largely responsible for their economical success (till today). I don't know why history loves to glamorise and ignore these atrocities as though these countries simply 'developed' on their own.
