I took my granddaughter this year for her 6th birthday and we had the best time ever!! my mom and dad use to bring me here when for his union company picnic, and I absolutely loved it, and wanted my babies to experience the won't I hade!! thanks you Camden Park for being as awesome as I remember!!!
coasterforce have their been any plans for a park to buy that boomerang style wooden coaster that was at iaapa, along with that coaster built up vertically? I think a park should buy it. What are the chances that a park will get one of those? If so, which ones?
It's unusual to see one of these without the huge first drop. This one has more of a half drop but makes up for it with the dark tunnel leading to the final drop. On our next trip to Ohio we might have to make a detour to visit this park. Thanks for posting.
New York: We have huge, bustling cities! Florida: We have warm weather and resorts aplenty. California: You like the beach? Gotcha covered. West Virginia: We got a century-old amusement part with some vintage-ass wooden coasters.
Nice Junior style coaster, but overall this park looks like it needs some help. The coaster needs a paint job and BAD. The park needs a ton of landscaping too. With a little more TLC, this park could be like Lakemont Park in PA. Definitely potential here.
is a whiplashing? i went on the antelope roller coaster in Gulivers world in Warrington UK. I didn't like it it was a half hour wait and i waited ten minutes because the queue went because the seats were wet and they were drying it off it was the first time ever to go on a roller coaster

If your in the back you get a TON of ejector airtime on the big drop
Was that the “omg I’m going to fall part”?
Literally 90 percent of my body went out the seay
We live like 45 minutes from Camden Park. My mom took me here when I was a kid and I loved it! But I love large roller coasters now haha
I miss parks like this where you truly get a great family day can't wait to take my kids one day
You know, Big Dipper replaced a Figure-8 side-friction coaster that operated in this very spot, from 1910 to 1957.
My ass was bouncing up and down on this ride
Wow. That is ONE exhilarating ride.

ThatCuteDinosaur You May as well go to Pennsylvania rather than West Virginia, it’s got Kennywood and tons of other amusement parks.
We have Pepporoni rolls too -- and a capital dome painted with real gold🤣🤣🤣
This was first roller coaster I ever rode!
I had just rode this today lol
HAHAHA NICE! I wish they would restore Camden Park! It looks so run down.
Yea and reinforce some rides
Agreed 100%

I looked this up because of Sawbones! It does look terrifying!

I like how you guys are writing those comments as if they're going to insult him. It's not his ride you know, he won't be insulted! :P
It’s sad that West Virginia barely has any coasters
i love Camden park i go every summer cause i live in huntington
Kitt Riggs Same, I live in Coal grove so I don't live that far away from it.
I've heard tales that this coaster used to be way longer.
Not true
This park needs at least a vekoma
i love big dipper i rode it 5 times
How come the lift hill is so quiet for a wooden roller coaster?
Because it wants to be.
Probably just the audio quality
I hate they changed the art on the haunted house....the old gohst6is what I remembered most...used to have a riverboat that'd take you down the river
Wonderful!! 🎉🎊😀🎉
Kennywood Thunderbolt and Conneaut Lake Blue Streak.

That roller coaster needs torn down and replaced. the wood on it has to be rotted!! It's very old.
Ouch that looks rough.
Thunderbolt at Kennywood and Kiddie coaster at Rye Playland

Rosanna Lebron it is
Rosanna Lebron it was built in the early 20th century. How can you expect to look like Fury325, steel vengeance or El Toro?
