The center was so mad he not only sold by proceeding to remain out of bounds for every offensive possession he didn’t have the ball in his hand, continued to talk about that 1 possession the whole game and chucked up every shot he could. Grown man here too. Rec randoms truly are a special species. Not all but most.

That way trash players can play trash players and people that actually know how to hoop can hoop. At the very least they can make plate color actually matter. Purples play with purple. Blacks with blacks. Purple and black plates should never see the court together.

Then another game we had 2 people who couldnt guard their man and couldnt do anything on offense and made us go down 25 points at half. Those 2 left and we managed to squeak by with a 1 point W
I rarely play PG but I went on my PG build the other day in the Solo Rec and shot 0/0 with 19 Assists, a couple rebounds, couple steals, only 1 turnover and I held my matchup to 8 points I think. Defense and Assisting is my favorite part of the game and I don't understand why others don't like it. I'm not saying I'm great at the game, I get cooked a lot. But if the team around you is decent then you'll be decent.

definitely found this myself when I'm on my SG I get hit all the time whether I'm open or not but whenever I'm on my big standing wide open for at least 5 seconds I dont get a single pass 9/10 the only time I get a pass is when I set a screen and pop or roll

I give myself one game per color i move up just for the boost on new build other than im in the park where at least i can peep my teamates before i jump in a game.. id rather get sold for 5 mins and barely loose progression than 30 mins or torture and still get knocked even if i play well..

Hi Dime. I love your channel (just dicovered it). Seeing your builds has me wanting to go all offense on my next build too. Honestly, it'd be a first. But, it's crazy to me how expensive it is to even get to bronze challenger, and I wonder if it's even worth it. I came up with something I really like, it even has a build name that I can't find back on youtube (playmaking 3 level scorer). Problem with me is I have a hard time deciding on builds and I end up playing test games for days. Smh lol. Thanks for reading.
I think Bronze challenger would be worth it. It’s actually what I go for on most of my offense heavy builds at this point in the year. At times it can be annoying not being able to get good contests on the perimeter, and good players know how to exploit you not having any defense. It’s definitely tough when deciding on a build…sometime I do the same thing and sit in the builder for days trying to perfect it. 😂 End of the day, you’re always going to have to sacrifice something so it’s just about figuring out what you’re willing to give up. Dude. I beat a team solo with all AI the other day 😂 Everyone quit in the 2nd and I brought myself back for the W. The AI is infinitely better teammates than the ultra vast majority playing Rando Rec. I even posted the video on my channel. I had to run the point with my set shooter with D, dimes and a 65 ball handle and still won. 😂 So embarrassing. I don't understand how people cannot figure out that if you pass to the open man and play D that you can win almost every game by 20. My problem is when people don't pass to the open man. I'm fine with low, or even no points. But people not passing the ball to wide open players pisses me off. Don't matter if its me, or someone else. Especially when that person is getting back on defense and holding his man down. Nobody wants to hustle on D and stand on the offensive end waving their hands for someone to throw them the ball over and over. Especially it they haven't taken a shot, or have been hitting what they've taken. I get it. People sometimes miss the open man, but when it happens over and over it's BS. I have this happen often. I figure its because my player is white and for some reason some people think white people can't play this game. Then, at the end of the game, once they see my matchup has been completely locked down and I've hit the one shot that I've taken they'll start passing me the ball. Thats just disrespectful IMHO. Nobody on 2K is good enough to not pass to the open man. Period. Even Michael Jordan passed to the open man. Its makes absolutely no sense not to do so.

definitely found this myself when I'm on my SG I get hit all the time whether I'm open or not but whenever I'm on my big standing wide open for at least 5 seconds I dont get a single pass 9/10 the only time I get a pass is when I set a screen and pop or roll

I don't. I feed the big, especially if he has the post moves. You can absolutely cook people with a big that's good in the low block. People can't defend that shit. The defense ends up collapsing to try and stop him, then it's an easy 3 for someone. Rinse and repeat.

Problem is stats matter so much on this game thanks to TH-camrs creating that toxic environment where your only good at the game if your the man dropping 30 that everyone wants to be that guy. But when you making builds that cost this much and this game being such a time investment can you blame them.
Boy I had a random score 35 but it was the worst player on our team to do so, 3 chances to end the game and he never passed, we went to double OT and lost, which he forced a dunk and missed and they hit a GW, 3 secs left he isos im wide open and he gets blocked….. boy they are SLOW

Seeing your builds has me wanting to go all offense on my next build too. Honestly, it'd be a first. But, it's crazy to me how expensive it is to even get to bronze challenger, and I wonder if it's even worth it.
I came up with something I really like, it even has a build name that I can't find back on youtube (playmaking 3 level scorer). Problem with me is I have a hard time deciding on builds and I end up playing test games for days. Smh lol.

I think Bronze challenger would be worth it. It’s actually what I go for on most of my offense heavy builds at this point in the year. At times it can be annoying not being able to get good contests on the perimeter, and good players know how to exploit you not having any defense. It’s definitely tough when deciding on a build…sometime I do the same thing and sit in the builder for days trying to perfect it. 😂 End of the day, you’re always going to have to sacrifice something so it’s just about figuring out what you’re willing to give up. Dude. I beat a team solo with all AI the other day 😂 Everyone quit in the 2nd and I brought myself back for the W. The AI is infinitely better teammates than the ultra vast majority playing Rando Rec. I even posted the video on my channel. I had to run the point with my set shooter with D, dimes and a 65 ball handle and still won. 😂 So embarrassing. I don't understand how people cannot figure out that if you pass to the open man and play D that you can win almost every game by 20.
My problem is when people don't pass to the open man. I'm fine with low, or even no points. But people not passing the ball to wide open players pisses me off. Don't matter if its me, or someone else. Especially when that person is getting back on defense and holding his man down. Nobody wants to hustle on D and stand on the offensive end waving their hands for someone to throw them the ball over and over. Especially it they haven't taken a shot, or have been hitting what they've taken. I get it. People sometimes miss the open man, but when it happens over and over it's BS. I have this happen often. I figure its because my player is white and for some reason some people think white people can't play this game. Then, at the end of the game, once they see my matchup has been completely locked down and I've hit the one shot that I've taken they'll start passing me the ball. Thats just disrespectful IMHO.
Nobody on 2K is good enough to not pass to the open man. Period. Even Michael Jordan passed to the open man. Its makes absolutely no sense not to do so.

There is absolutely no factors at play that says you shouldn't pass to an open man. None. If a man is open, pass him the ball. If you can't get a good look within a few moves, pass the ball.
