This is some of the best lute playing I have ever heard. And the early Italian repertoire here is rarely ever performed. These little lute dances and fantasias are sublime. Paolo's tone and touch is organic, real, and intimate. One of the best sounding lute recordings I've ever heard. Bravo!!!

Yes, lutes are so elegant, so much so I plan to make one. I consider myself just an average guy living in the 21st century, but I feel strongly about this type of music, the purity is unreal. The sound, the holiness. It's like pure goodness.
