I thought the Hardcore Holly incident on Tough Enough was way worse, because he put that kid in a ridiculous spot. He had a WWE Superstar, who is supposed to be 'instructing' shooting on him for literally no reason that I can gather except to show him that can sometimes happen. Which would have been fine had he rolled that into a lesson for everyone after the match, and gave the guy props for continuing to perform during the beating. Because what was the guy to do? Give it back to him? Take the ass kicking?? There's a contract on the line, so the wrong decision could end that opportunity.
That's why I think Holly really did it. He was in a bad mood, and wanted to beat the shit out of someone that would be too frozen to fight back. Which is a bush league move from a veteran.

I was at that show where New Jack threw Vic Grimes off the scaffolding. We were standing at the railing on the side he came down and it looked like he was gonna hit the floor right in front of us. Those ropes may have saved his life. It was the scariest thing I’ve seen at a live show.
