Hard work payed off! I may try with plastic rollers. I have to flat iron daily and need a break from heat styling. I’ve tried the silk pillow case and every suggestion heard and my hair is always flat when I wake up

Did you put in additional setting lotion when putting the top of your hair into the Flexi rods or was it the same amount you had put in originally when laying the sides? Also, where did you get your wrap from when you laid the sides of your hair? So pretty overall.
After I set the mold and dried it, I didn't put anymore foaming lotion. I just used the curl enhancing cream with the flexi rods. I think I had buy that wrap cap from Sally's a while back. But you can find them at your local beauty supply store as well. I hope this helps.
Hey hun....I would put back the flexi rods from the top to the center of my head for like the 1st week...Then when I get to lazy for that going into the 2nd week, I do pin curls at night...these curls are smaller, so I would do smaller pin curls on this style for a couple days. After a couple days and the curls begin to drop, I would do bigger pin curls. Then what happens is the style then turns back into the layered cut.

I never used hair moisturizer to hold a curl before....When I used it, I would use it to slick back my hair and it gives a good shine.... I don't think that it would hold the curl like the curl enhancing smoothie would though...Hope this helps.
How long does this whole process take? For how many days can it stay like that/ Presently, I put my whole head in rollers EVERY night which takes 15 minute to do. Looking for something chic and different but low maintenance
With washing, setting, then drying, then doing the Flexi rods...I would say 1hr. 45min.You can cut the time down by just doing the Flexi rods one time on your wet hair when you are setting it with the wrapping foam...then just dry....but once its done it lasts for a week and some days (keeping in mind how fresh you personally like to see your hair). I didn't had to put back in the Flexi rods at night because the curls come out as smaller tighter curls. However, as time goes by I may reset the sides at night and tie it down. Hope this helps.
