Queen of Kings tells the story of a life filled with music, excitement and electrifying performances.
Fort Lauderdale-based Mexican singer and Venezuelan singer duo Kike Orozco and Clautronica are the architects behind this vibrant, funky-inspired sound-powered by unbreakable harmonies with seamless songwriting adeptness that combines a story of both the joys and heartaches of life.
The band started in 2009 when singer/songwriter Kike met a musician/singer/songwriter Clautronica at Santo reunion concert in Miami Beach. “I was impressed for her powerful voice and performance, she is an amazing artist”. Says Kike. Fueled by a mutual interest in 70’s funk, the two began recording original material in Claudia’s home studio. ‘It became clear right away that we had something worthwhile after the first few demos’ says Kike, ‘Claudia and me just clicked, and we knew the time was just right to bring back this funky sexy sound.’ They created “Queen of Kings”
​The group had been playing together for years before it recorded its first album in 2018. The band has more shows than they can count under their belt.
