How to clean digital camera LCD screen | Sony Cybershot DSC-W300

Here is an old 2008 model digital camera - Sony Cybershot DSC-W300
Note: Use few drops of 70% or 90% IsoPropylAlcohol for cleaning the device. After cleaning, let the device dry out the solution completely before use. Do not use it before drying, as it will damage the device.

To clean dust off the front of the screen, I have found that the very fine sheeth of plastic of a file or document separaton works well. Cut a piece about 3 inches long, press the 'ON' button so that the lens telescopes. Slide the plastic between the last two rings (telescoping and fixed ring) and fiddle it back and forth. You will feel it easing, so watch the screen on the back of the camera and twiddling it you will dislodge the dust.

It's probably easier to get a new battery + charger, or a new battery + universal charger (just make sure it is for lithium ion batteries)
