  • 👋 Hey guys welcome back everyone to another invaluable lesson in how to #aim rail cut shots of degree magnitude close to 60 degree using #fractionalballaiming and automatic visualization! This is a low percentage shot of less that 50% so my advice is this shot should only be attempted when there is no other option or when absolutely necessary because there is a 59% chance that you will sell out if you miss! This requires a failry good amount of time of the table to develop a field for the #pottingangle the #shotpicture and #strokespeed to increase the the percentage success of the shot!
    Give it a try in your training and let me know in the comments if your success rate is higher than using your aiming method vs mine!

    A touch of left spin will probably help you ensure that the ball comes closer to pot the ball in the corner and go into the pocket. It might change your aiming point but will provide more accuracy. Also a touch of top spin helps when it's all the way down the table but will require a bit closer of a cut but will likely be help the shot. If you shoot slow/soft then aim at the same side/edge of the pocket as your English (inside/left) and if you shoot hard aim at the opposite side of your English. To remember this you can use the acronym "H.O.S.S" Hard Opposite, Soft Same. It's for applying English based on aiming at the pocket's edge instead of the ghostball direct center.

      Appreciate this knowledge! Thanks much will definitely have to add this to my next version of this upload! My main aim was to help everyone identify the fraction of the ball to hit when the pick up this shot picture but definitely I want to stay away from spin in anyway unless it’s absolutely necessary but appreciate this insight this is definitely 💯 powerful

      @@apexpredatorbilliardstraining No problem. Just to be clear I mean that when you line up the ball directly to the pocket center you may experience cit (cut induced throw, even with no spin on the ball) . So if you aim to the inside (right in this case) of the pocket and use a touch of gearing English (left) to overcome the cut induced throw then the consistency will Improve because otherwise speed will be your major factor of why the shot sometimes misses and otherwise goes in. The H.O.S.S is just a side tip if you are using full English and not specifically related to this shot.

      @@apexpredatorbilliardstraining Glad it makes sense. That is why many use outside english (just a half tip) when aiming directly at the ghost ball to correct this problem. On the shot you are doing, many will aim at the back of the pocket meaning the right edge and with no english the cut induced throw will actually make the ball come up short of the back of the pocket and go in. But of course if you are going to shoot soft to be more accurate the inside of the pocket (left edge in the shot you were doing half way through) will be your friend and the touch of left english will bring it more towards the center. Good luck with your game and thanks for sharing your knowledge as well my friend!

    Another method that is similar to this is called bracketing, which is where you deliberately under cut and miss short, then you deliberately over cut and miss long. Then just basically go back and forth missing short and long for about ten minutes, then make the shot 5 times in a row with center ball, 5 times in a row with follow, and 5 times in a row with draw.

      Wow I have never heard of this technique! Can you elaborate more or reference a video for this! Thanks much! I read the comment twice and I understand what you are saying but I will need to get on the table and test this theory for sure! Wow thanks 🙏 friend hope you are subscribe so we can connect more

    off rail shots are just cuts, put the ball on the rail and show us how consistent you are....

      @apexpredatorbilliardstraining  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh no problem there is a formula for that as well and I am just as consistent the issue with that video is that just like this one it’s a low if not 1% likely that someone would go for that shot but I will do it just for you

      @MikeBilliardsFun78 this sport can be a cruel sport because when it turns against you it can literally brsak you mentally! It someti,es will make you feel like everything you have learned or practice is not worth it or ig make you feel like improving makes no sense because there is slways someone out there thst just appear to be better or knows more than you. You cant master this game and you cant win all tge time because evem the best players in the world are beaten by players that are not remotely in their league. This is pool and thats all the more reason to love it because its never the same
