    I like the Nigeria Air project ... This should be bad news for many Airlines including Delta, Emirate, South Africa Air, Ethiopia Air, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, KLM, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Air France etc etc... These countries have loads of Nigerians living in them and Nigeria Air will be a class of its own. Matter of fact.. .. Nigeria Air should be one of the biggest Airlines in the world, if it is well harnessed and managed bcos Nigerians are all over the globe !!

    Dependence on motor vehicles and generators has polluted the air and contributed to an increase in respiratory diseases across the de facto capital city of the Southern Republic. More satellite cities should be built along the rail routes connecting the high speed trains running through the vast empty but fertile lands of Nigerias breadbasket the Central Republic to connect the Northern and Southern Republics and the United Capital territory of the Union of Nigerian Republics Abuja. How come 3 republics? Nigeria cannot afford 500 republics for each tribe as many will be banana republics there are only ten or so ethnicities in this vast country that can function independently 9;of them in the south and 1 in the north. And that won’t be a fair distribution. Also the experiment is to allow all related ethnicities to continue to live together so Igbo and Yorubas must learn to be one again like they were 2000/years ago when they split into separate branches. All the tribes of the south are very closely related so should stick together. Same for central and Northern Nigeria. The only viable ethnicities in Nigeria are the Ndi Igbo (A highly resourceful industrialised polity with many rich individuals who put their wealth against each other like the great wrestlers in Umofia in things fall apart the novel, they are incredibly disunited internally), Hausa Fulani confederacy (quietly autocratic but the most powerful and ruthless of Nigeria’s numerous ethnicities ), Yoruba (the most economically advanced and least deprived ethnicity with the least ability to unite the country let alone its numerous quarrelling sub divisions), Itsekiri ( this is a very wealthy independent and Westernised Yoruba ethnicity who by freak of history have managed to be both internally and externally independent and evaded integration into the Yoruba territories, they don’t have significant numbers to threaten the system but are threateningly influential way beyond their meagre numbers suggest), Ijaw-kalabari (an oil rich confederation of ancient post-cro-magnon hominid peoples whose ancestors have lived in Nigeria for thousands of years and predated the current homosapien volta- niger peoples of south and central Nigeria) Effik-ibibio ( these are Cameroonian Bantus in everything but nationality as they have much more in common with the shorter Bantu tribes of central Africa than with west African peoples and should not ideally be part of Nigeria but its much poorer neighbour) Urhobo-Isokob( these are southern Edo people who would find it difficult integrating with them confederation of Edo tribes due to over 1,200;years of separate and the Tivlands.

    Ocean city is the One of the most dumbest idea so far in Lagos. Did they complete the EKO Atlantic yet? Do they have financial backers to bankroll the project? No. It is good on paper, but I doubt if it can be implemented. Sorry, but that’s the truth

    • @ortegaseun9965
      @ortegaseun9965 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      This are two private companies ooo.... eko Atlantic isn’t a mere project that you will just start now and finish immediately. It took years for them to sand filled the place, and test the soil types in different countries of the world. They worked on great of wall of Lagos to avoid flooding. Secondly they started construction of roads , drainages , under ground wiring, bridges, etc . This’s not what you will do just in some years ooo. Presently they have sold all lands and several buildings construction have started. Then what do you want again.

      It's crazy to see so much jealousy. Benin City was not build in one day. Rome was not build in one day. Dubai was not build in one. These people just don't wanna see Nigeria win. Nigeria's economy is still growing. Even during a pandemic the economy grew in 2021. They are doing great things is Nigeria. No African country can compete at the moment, this includes South Africa, Egypt and Ethiopia.

      @@gbemisayoquadri9916 The 'airport' is probably gonna be an airstrip for Cessna-type aircraft and/or helicopters. Hence, the noise pollution would be negligible.

      That's not how construction works... You can have 300 projects going on concurrently under various property developers and investors.
      For example: Eko Atlantic is valued at 6billion dollars & Dangote Refinery is valued at 19billion dollars, yet, it only took Nigeria 3yrs to complete Dangote Refinery... Sometimes it's not about the money.

      Let me educate you, most project are investors driven, Private sectors ,the job of the government is to give them enable environment. Sometimes getting funds is the major problems in project financing. Just as we saw In American, they abandoned a new York train station and new lines for almost 100years. Go do your findings

    Nigeria Air ownership makes no sense. Seems like a way to scam Nigerians. Why must Nigerian goverment stake be limited to a maximum of 5% (with no minimum stake btw) and why must foreign investors be guaranteed 49% of the Airline? What nonsense! Audio National Carrier, let me know when we get a genuine National carrier.
    Why not appoint an existing indigenous Airline like Air Peace the national carrier and fund it to grow up to the required capacity?
