I was Coatbridge nearly 50 years ago it’s where my dad and his family are from x we laugh I was made in Scotland but born in London

My dad was fea coatbridge and came to Fife went through when young to see his 2 older sisters and his maw. He was 1 of 12 Irish dad and mum fea Fife lol

@KissBhoy he came fea wye crescent coatbridge think thar would come under townhead 1 of his sisters still stays neat wye crescent 1 brother in Airdrie as only 5 left 2 sisters 3 brothers

@@Thomas-yk2vg aye, I remember many years ago people from Coatbridge leaving to go live in Glenrothes. We had some in Greenend make the move.

The 2nd and 3rd oldest sister didn't marry and stayed in 15 wye crescent and because I'm a fifer didn't know at the time ginger was juice lol

I was fea a miners village called high valley field was ok and the last time was in coatbridge would be in the early 80's but used to go mostly in the 70's. The 2 sisters who never married worked at the bus station in Glasgow
