We adjust Preload (suspension sag) , Seat height , Tyre pressure , brake and clutch levers , Windscreens and Headlight visibility.
Rider sag is the measurement of how much the forks and shock compress when you get on the bike. Setting the sag lets you change where in the range your suspension ‘sits’ with you on board, and it gives the suspension an initial point to work in either direction.
Too big a sag figure (it drops too much when you get on) and your suspension could bottom out under braking and cornering. Too small a figure (doesn’t drop enough) and it could top out under acceleration or over bumps.
For rear preload changes you will see a variety of different applications.
A common setup is the use of locking threaded rings. The top ring acts as the lock and pins the adjustment ring in place.
The angle of the controls should be such that you can comfortably cover the levers with two fingers. To establish a starting position, sit upright (as you would when braking hard), and form a straight line with your arms that extends from your shoulders to your fingertips. You want your levers to be right under your fingers in this position. Any significant angle in your wrist will make it difficult to cover the controls and reduce your effective pull strength.
Aiming your motorcycle headlight is simple, but you need to understand what you're adjusting and where to aim the beam. Take a look in the owner's manual and then peer around the headlight area to understand what the manual says. Generally, headlight adjustment hardware falls into one of three categories: a big knob or nifty electric switch that adjusts the beam for you; smallish but exposed knobs; and the hidden, hard-to-use screw-type adjusters.
Your best option is a lower seat and there are a couple of avenues you could pursue. Plenty of manufacturers offer accessories to low seats that can reduce your seat height by as much as an inch while still looking totally stock.
Alternatively, if you want to go the DIY route you could actually remove the cover from your stock seat and shave down the foam to lower it.
You can find them in your user manual or on the placard attached to the bike. Usually there are two recommendations, one for solo and one for two-up with only 1-2psi difference, usually higher on the rear.
Varied tyre pressures have less to do with providing a cushion of air for support and more to do with heat. Tyres need to warm up to an optimum temperature where their grip level is high and wear is low. To achieve the right temperature, the tyres have to be inflated to the right pressure.
A windshield is typically installed to provide a fair bit of aerodynamic leverage for a rider riding at high speeds. It is primarily present to deflect the wind hitting your chest area, this is because the chest region forms one of the biggest wind barriers whist riding a motorcycle.
There are several applications or uses that have been derived from a windshield.
Track racers will use it to tuck/crouch forward so as to only expose the top of the helmet to the wind blast. Being most aerodynamic is essential for that edge in performance.
While tourers use bigger versions of the windshield to aid in deflecting debris, bugs and wind being blasted on their helmets.

Hi bro I have duke390 I facing a issues while accelerating or Deaccelerating its shaking(jumping)a bit ,
Actually wheels got bend due to pot hole , after that i changed both the rims
I had fue suggestions from the ktm service
1)front suspension oil chang Done
2) Disc bend I just replaced
3) I change the front tyre for same brand of rear tyre appolo alpha H1
4) front wheel axel changed
But still iam facing the same issues,
