Saratoga & North Creek on the Ex D&H Adirondack Branch 2016 - 2018

A compilation of footage of the SNC taken from 2016 to 2018. On April 7th, 2018 the SNC ran their last revenue excursion down the Adirondack Branch. Since then all their equipment has been moved off the line. The BL-2's, and Lackawanna E8s went to the Battenkill for storage, and the ALCO switchers were bought by Raven Rail LLC. Currently the future of this line remains uncertain.

Years back I rode in the cab of the 8524, what an experience. Went from the north end to Thousand Arce ranch in Stoney creek or about. Really wish they still were running. Last I heard the 8524 was down south somewhere

It's on the Huntsville & Madison County Railroad in Alabama.

I went to the SNC a few summers ago. I had a great time there, I was really impressed when I saw the BL2s!

I loved the SNC. I visited North Creek a couple years ago and got a tour of a caboose and saw the RS-36.
