Another great one by Dimash! I actually really enjoy both the song and the video. I like the concept of the music video and the way the whole thing fits together!
As a hard core Dimash Dear for 8 years I am with you 100 percent regarding this song and video. Never one of my favorites, either, and I think he was doing this more "just for fun," than as an attempt to be brilliant in yet another genre of music. I hope other Dears will appreciate your honesty even if they liked it more than you did.
Except for a few exceptions I’m not generally a fan of his pop or more “accessible “ songs but I like this one quite a bit. Every one is entitled to their opinion so I don’t hold it against anyone who may not like this song, but it’s got a lot more going on musically than many people think. It’s got blues, R&B, pop, rock and gospel elements blended seamlessly together. His singing was pretty spectacular, too. FWIW, it’s one of his most popular songs, reaching over a million views faster than any other song that I’ve seen.
@@HaruNatsuAkiFuyu959 I understand and appreciate your perspective and agree that it blends a lot of genres well. For me, however, the melody line is just too ordinary (as many of the pop/rock songs of the '80s were) and that's exactly what I've been escaping by embracing music and artists as creative as Dimash.
Thank you for reacting to this. 😊 When I first saw this I was a little disappointed by the neon lights on the frame, that suddenly appeared halfway through. 😅 But then I remembered that it wasn’t a movie, but a music video. And after that I really enjoyed the visuals. I like the growly parts best as well. But I also love the rest of the song. ❤ You have certainly much experience with the horror genre, and were expecting too much horror. But this is Dimash and supposed to appeal to the general crowd. 😅 And it’s a music video. 😂😉 She was on her way to interview Dimash and was so nervous, that she dreamt about that interview. He is known to be a good natured and incredibly nice person. And in this dream he turns out to be a vampire. 😂 Or was it only a dream? 😉 I hope you‘ll rewatch it and maybe it will grow on you. I personally love Zombie and Monster Series. (Walking Dead, Happiness, Gyeongseong Creature, All of Us are Dead, Sweet Home) Especially Korean ones for some reason. But I don’t like gore. But if the story is good, I tolerate it. 😅 You might like Kingdom. Many like it, but it’s too dark and gory for me. 😅 Hellbound and Train to Busan are supposed to be good as well. But I haven’t seen them yet. I believe the sexy vampire thing started with Bram Stoker. And after that it just stuck, because it’s a great story. 😊
