He has sung songs in over 14 languages, and at his concerts he will often sing in 6 langusges. He will speak in Kazakh, Russian, or English depending where he is.
Dimash has always spoken about how much he admired MJ and his music. He even did a tribute to Michael during one of his concerts, and said at times he can almost as if Michael is on the stage with him. If you watch other videos of Dimash, you will see for yourselves. Dimash stated that when he was two, he knew the only thing he wanted to do was sing and perform onstage. He said he owes it to his "Dears" to give only his best in concerts or videos. He began music school when he was five, and now has his Ph.D. in musicology. He still goes vocal training for 3-4 hours every day. Dimash is an independent performer. He did not want to get caught up with the trappings of his music being managed by American labels. Watch the credits at the end of this video. His father is his producer and manager. Dimash has the final say in everything that he does. Dimash is also a composer, instrumentalist, producer, and lyricist. He spent the last 25 years of his life studying music. Dimash actually didn't go for the money, he declined to sell his music rights to the music industry and thats why his recognition has been slower especially in the west, but he gets to decide what and how he sings, nobody controls him and therefore he is totally able to enjoy his career and do what interests him, he also very much appreciates his fans, he calls them dears, because they are dear to himand he knows theyare the life blood of his journey, he performs for usand himself and from what I hear his concerts are awesome and you get more than your moneys worth. It a win wingor the fans and the artist.
So if you replace the Q with a K sound its said like Koo ( like coo) -dye-bare-gen. (Hard G like gun). Kazakhstan is not Russian, they are Kazakh (Turkic background). Although Kazakhstan was once part of the USSR, they were able to keep their heritage intact, but lots of Kazakhs do speak Russian. If you wanted shout out the people "in the background" you could have let the credits roll. Dimash doesn't always roll credits like a movie, but this one he did.
