You know for these commenters stating "illegal armies" there are rules available so you don't look silly when proven wrong. The bows are legal for harad and umbar because it is 1/3 of each of your allied force and it's rounded up. You don't add your models altogether and then get 1/3.
Technically Adam I believe the dead force was illegal(depending on errata release date).This was prior to legendary legions but all forces are beholden to the hero tier rule unless this was before that as well, which it may have been. In which case the army of the dead would have need the king or a herald to be historic allies as they require a hero of fortitude from both sides minimum.
The army of the dead is illegal because every faction needs a hero I guess (that's not overruled by their army bonus if you read page 236 carefully and compare it to the army bonus).
Yeah, umbars also illegal now that you cant get the reaver or the bosun :(

Yes but some armies have bonuses overriding that.

How are you taking 5 Arbalesters with only 13 total warriors in your Corsair side? The 33% rule stands for each allied force on its own. You're two warriors short unless I missed something.
Hey,
In regards to the bow limit, it's 33% rounding up. So it's a cheeky way to get one additional bow in your army, as soon as you add the one model beyond the 33%, you can make it a model equipped with a bow due to rounding it up.

Sorry but switched off after 5 mins, I'm new to the game and all I'm watching is need 5s need 3s need 4s ect and dice throwing. Probably ok for people who know the rules inside out and and the armies involved, but I'm not quite there yet. Best regards k
if you know literally any GW game, needing to roll a dice to kill the enemy is part of every game. Like every single one. Indeed I can't think of a wargame where that.... isn't required.
@@EAfirstlast That's not my point ,I play plenty of games I'm part of a club. This battle report is focusing on the dice throwing and for anyone new with no explanation is just that chucking dice and stating required number. I watch games as a visual aid to learning the rules, this wasn't helping which is why I turned off. Players who know the game may get a better experience.
After "5 minutes" they haven't even started the battle... and the beginning it's only dice rolling because they are literally just rolling for priority as they are too far away to shoot... the rest of the battle they explain what they need to roll and why, as well as when to shield or not... if you are new to the game and want to learn these videos will explain stuff. If you are new and want to learn I would suggest having more patience.
I really, really wanted to watch this Battle Report. But it starts off with two illegal armies. What's the point?
I'm not sure how both are illegal armies, Dead of Dunharrow allied with fellowship to get Aragorn (pre legendary legions). Then I answered your bow question as well.
Hopefully it doesn't wreck your viewing pleasure. After all it's about supporting the hobby and having fun!

Every model had paint on them... some painted black with people accent colours but intentionally black (watchers to be exact).
