Rita loved Bob and supported all his antics, ideology, & aspirations. He could not replace her. He was smart enough to know that. Rita and Bob are the epitome of soul mates. They will be together for many more life cycles. Beautiful.
By listening to this in full, my takeaway is that Cindy is enamoured with the legacy and worldwide recognition Bob has achieved since his death. That is what she is desperately trying to attach herself too. But you see, the person who helped build that legacy from the very beginning was his one and only wife Rita Marley, from carrying his records on her head to selling them in-front of her aunts house when he was a nobody. Then when he passed, it was Rita who preserved his legacy over the decades by her work. Cindy was busy marrying two other rich white men and having two other kids, but now later in life wants to try and take “credit” for that work. Nope! You was not there from Day 1, you came to benefit once Rita already laid the groundwork. Cindy was one of many groupies looking for a come up and gave Bob the time of day only because of his rising star. If Bob did not become the worldwide superstar and revered legend he is today, she wouldn’t be so proud to have been a Rasta Man’s side piece and one of many baby mothers. This is what you call a barefaced shameless matey suffering from side chick syndrome who still doesn’t know her place in history. You sat at the back of his funeral for a reason. Tuh!
This is exactly what it is, she loves the legend not the man and that’s why she was made a side piece and not a wife. Rita understood the assignment in being the head cornerstone of di legacy
Biggest chip on Cindy shoulder is being Bob Marley’s baby mother and not wife. She needs to do lectures about the two men that actually wifed her and not the man that left her a single mother with nothing!
What baffles me is that Cindy is on her second marriage yet has spent the past 40 years being a barefaced shameless matey to make her son feel better about being illegitimate and herself about having an affair with a married man. All she gets is heaps of backlash and nasty comments aimed at her. Was it worth it? Go focus on your husband and stop trying to take the spotlight off Rita Marley. She’s the REAL Queen and spokesperson of his legacy.
Sometimes I wonder, had the tables been turned; Cindy - an uptown white woman had been married to Bob and Rita was one of his many women outside his marriage. Would the same sort of platform and admiration be given? There are lots of underlining currents and I believe it says a lot about us as Jamaicans.
Cindy doesn't want to be what she actually is. And that's a footnote in the history of Bob Marley's life. She was one of several women he dated, fooled around and fathered a child with. She's looking to be held in higher esteem. Some of it stems from her having a chip on her shoulder birthing a illegitimate son and wanting to make her and Bob’s union more than what it is was….an adulterous affair. She'll have to do what she's always done, and that's settle for what she can get and is entitled to. She didn't get to be Mrs Bob Marley. She didn't get to be, in the eyes of the world the woman most closely tied to his music, life and musical career. She didn't get to be acknowledged by him or the media the most important woman in his life or even one of the most important. Whatever the status of their marriage, Rita was still his wife at the time of his death and Cindy was his mistress, which is why she was sat at the back of his funeral. Rita put up with her during his life. There's no reason for her to do so now after his death. I thought with old age and after 2 marriages it would give one clarity and self respect, I guess not!
Mr. Bob Marley is an international hero. The admiration is deeper than being fans. People want to know. Ms. Breakspare has insight. All the baby mothers should come together to share their tales.
Facts. She embarrasses Damian each time because all she gets is backlash and hate, which I’m sure he’s seen all these years. She can’t stand that she goes down in history as a side chick and baby mother. It’s a huge chip on her shoulder. But that her fate from the moment she decided to mess with a married man.
No where else but jamaica would support this behavior. What kind of example are we setting for the children. It's OK to have an affair with a married man and lecture about it. INSANE. Cindy did not represent the essence of who the Jamaican woman then or now. It doesn't mean because u sleep with a rasta man you're cultured. She would never win by towards standard. Jesus christ the disrespect is palpable. Mrs Marley is still alive.
cindy wouldnt give bob notice for 3 yrs& she lived at hope rd.In 1976 she needed$ to go to miss world & now she noticed him. & Bob paid for it Next came a business for her & a house BOB WAS SOO MUCH MORE THAN SOMEONES BOYFRIEND OR HUSBAND you people need to read
cindy wouldnt give bob notice for 3 yrs& she lived at hope rd.In 1976 she needed$ to go to miss world & now she noticed him. & Bob paid for it Next came a business for her & a house BOB WAS SOO MUCH MORE THAN SOMEONES BOYFRIEND OR HUSBAND you people need to read
@@kathrynearle787 Yeah I heard that he paid for the Miss World and also Jamaica had boycotted the pageantry due to apartheid South Africa, but Bob influence changed that and had Jamaica send her. He paid for her business and house. But initially Rita would be told you told different you don't want to be rich. Cindy was a gold digger.
You spoke of no rivalry then, what changed? You are now eaten up by jealousy, after giving that powerful speech, UWI turned around and gifted Rita with honourable awards. Bob's words to Rita in a song come to mind "no woman no cry". He knew then she would be his eternal queen.
The birthday tribute was showing rivalry as it came out with the movie One Love which focuses on Rita's role in Bob's life. What kind of birthday tribute makes a list of the places where people mated?
Why should these old people keep on living in shame. Bob had a lot of women, but he loved this woman, and he loved Rita. Get over it. If he lived, he would have had many, many more women and kids. Bob said it himself, Judge Not, before you judge yourself.
She’s still deeply jealous and bitter about being the mistress in the story that she will try her hardest to be validated as someone who was “special” she’ll never come close to the importance of Rita Marley in Bob’s life. She was just a footnote in his story and he moved on after just like he did with all the others. She’s disrespectful and should think about her son in these moments, because all Cindy does is get hate and backlash!
Also, a year after Cindy did this lecture this same university (UWI) honoured Rita Marley with an honorary doctorate degree, she’s now known as The Honourable Dr Rita Marley OJ OD LITT in Jamaica. Rita will always have the accolades, adulation, reverence and respect that Cindy will never have not matter how much she’s deluded herself. Rita is the Queen of his legacy and has worked tirelessly over the decades in preserving it into what it is today, she will forever have my respect.
Bob Marley would not have stayed with Rita if he were alive today. Cindy spoke so eloquently and well versed of her life and time with Bob, and her respect for Rita. One Love !!!!
Orange suites brunet people and she looks wonderful like this hairdo too in my opinion....but i'm asking(i repeat)that children robert nesta marley are glad about it
All of the other side chicks are silent, except for Pascalene Bongoi the African girl who was his last love and arranged for him to perform for the first time in the motherland at a concert in Gabon. Pascalene's story has been written in French and should be translated. Cindy's view of Bob is very lopsided. At least Rita's role in his life is now widely publicized because of the recent One Love movie.
@@irisarmstrong1210 Beautiful speech about herself as the crusader breaking down race barriers in Jamaica when she mated with Bob. The real pioneer in this has kept her silence and dignity and prefers to speak about Bob's value, rather than herself.
This is Informative, truthful and brilliant. Cindy made herself vulnerable in this presentation. I admire her. I was raised in a traditional western Christian culture yet I can find the space within me to be empathetic and understanding. I embrace whatever this was meant to be. We are all imperfect humans. There is no child that is a mistake in God’s creation. Bob Marley transcended societal norms. Thank God for the gift he was and remains. Thank you Cindy for sharing your little piece of the bridge with us - Powerful and relevant. We can judge, but it’s history. Thank you Damian and your siblings for keeping Bob alive. Mango don’t bring orange. It bear mango!!
Bob was preaching equal rights, truth & justice which was great, yet in the same breath he was doing so much wrong to the most significant species of the earth; the women. I don’t believe in double standards . We have to practice what we preach if we want to be exemplary leaders. In this aspect; Bob was significant in other areas & millions including myself is very proud of his accomplishments, some of his principles & what he did to put reggae, Jamaica & black people on a global platform. However Bob led a promiscuous life & hurt many people; family members mostly. Bob’s legacy is a mix of repeat hurting & emotional abused as well as bitter sweet moments of his wife, children & baby mothers. Helplessly all the women in Bob’s life were deeply & helplessly in love with this phenomenal man. In the meantime Bob wanted to complete desperately his one mission & purpose in this life that he was born to do. Great presentation Cindy well done speech. We love y’all & proud of Junior Gong & all his kids.
We have learnt that Cindy was indifferent to the South African situation that had other contestants in Miss World 1976 demonstrating against the inclusion of apartheid queens from South Africa and withdrawing from the competition.
Can you imagine Marilyn Monroe being allowed to disrespect John F Kennedy's widow by lecturing on their affair especially while Mrs Kennedy was alive.. HELL NO.
That was absolutely a beautiful expression of 'One Love'. Love of family, of people, of Bob's love for all people. Cindy was eloquent, honest, and loving in her presentation. She draws pictures with her words. I felt like I had journeyed through it with her. Beautiful expression of a life well lived. 🇯🇲💚💛🖤
This is so inappropriate to have that woman speaking on Mr Marley legacy,, Mrs Rita. Marley was his widow and will always be his widow where are all the other baby mothers at? None of them are trying to push and force their way to be seen nor heard. I think she’s only doing this because she was the only white one and a lot of people don’t even know Bob had a baby with a princess from Africa, but he never married any of those women he only stayed married to Rita just like Mr. Bob Marley. Mother said he was always madly in love with Rita that’s why he never divorced her. We love Miss Rita, Marley, the true queen.
No ill will but she says she would be the woman to share the rest of his days with? She wasn’t with him in the end and married shortly after his death so when was she dating her then husband to be? I think she was attracted to his fame unlike his ride or die who seems to have proved her genuine dedication even after his death! I guess I can’t understand why she goes on like this knowing she hurt Rita. Especially now being a married woman.
Beautiful lecture, Cindy is not only beautiful but smart and funny. This was very interesting because we were all young and curious and one time and we all made mistakes but we learn and grow and that's life.
I repeat I don't think gorgeous looking and talented ziggy marley is happy missis cinthia breakspeare talks often about her engangement with his late dad....and robert nesta marley as we know,,he cannot more difendere himself
Whatever people want to say about her, she sure lived an interesting life and has a unique story which she shared so eloquently and does not seem ashamed or regretful of any of it. I enjoyed listening to this.
This was very interesting to listen to. Cindy is worth listening to, and her humor at 22:00 was great...her greatest God-given talent: her good looks. She was SO beautiful in her youth, and still is!
Cindy is so beautiful in her speech and in her soul, I love to hear Bob Marley songs and it was so sad for me ,i was in school that time, oh my tear come to my eyes, thank you cindy for that lovely memory, you're wonderful and beautiful heart jah blessings be with you always and for ever more.
Rare beauty and elegance indeed but she shoud respect missis rita marley and her children...missis rita is robert nesta marley' s true widov, because she was that talented man' s wife
Came here after seeing the One Love movie. Great context for an integrated lens of the time period as well as the personal lives. Thank you for sharing your experience Cindy Breakpeare
I was totally enthralled by Cindy's presentation. Truthful, honest, authentic... There is still a story yet to be told...and it shall. So Bob Seh... "tell the children the truth..." Here's to long life, more love, and Bob's message, music, and wisdom for-Iver. ~ 1Luv ~ MPeggyQ
Truthful? She spoke lies the minute she said she didn’t know he was married. Cindy is nothing but a glorified baby mother and sidechick. That is her fate. I remember vividly when she did this lecture the backlash she got from Jamaicans and the press at the time. NUFF MATEY!
Cindy u are quite a lady in spite of what anyone thinks. Listening to ur speech my goodness I do believe Bob loved u in his own way & u in turn loved him. Bob was always about love, one love, & to see how it played out between u & Rita, unite together by caring for him, I know he must have felt all that love around him long side of his entire family. Yes I think he went home in peace. I do believe u & Rita endured a lot in the name of love (Bob Marley) our biggest icon, may his soul R.I.P. One love ❤❤
I really enjoyed this speech! Still here all the way to the end...Cindy is a great spokesperson for Bob Marley's legacy. She said he loved all the mothers of his children and his lovers in his own way and his own time.
The spokesperson of his legacy has been Rita Marley. His only wife and widow. Any award, achievement or business venture Rita has been front and centre. An invitation to a university doesn’t make you a spokesperson. It makes you the delusional desperate sidechick.
Cindy has said nothing new about Bob apart from telling us that they were in a relationship during the year that she was a winner of a pageant that supported apartheid in South Africa. This fact makes us question the consistency of Bob's values.
She seems to believe that she is a national heroine for bedding Bob. Diane Jobson who was his first uptown light skinned girlfriend long before Cindy has never used her relationship with Bob to get fame. She broke class and colour barriers and didn't make a song and dance about it. What is so special about Cindy?
but if she in in other ideologies its permissive , so what's the problem, it is what it is, even to the prophet Abraham do the same you don't criticize, so stop you bs, let it be
What a story shared. We filter through the limited lenses we’ve known most if not all of our lives. Hearing her story of how she, Rita, Diane, Bob, and all their children celebrated holidays together at his mother’s house in Miami had me in awe, to say the least. They created their own version of family…
I met Cindy Breakspeare in person shortly after she won, she was stunningly beautiful then and is still so now, but much more than her physical appearance is her charm, and wit, she is a person who dominates a room, you can't help but notice her, she is polite, personable, and very, very down to earth.
With all that said, she was and is still just a baby mama to Bob. Regardless of how many people who say he loved Cindy, just not enough to marry her. with all his and Rita's open marriage, she was the love of his life, and he showed it. Get over it.
I’m not sure why Cindy Breakespeare was invited to the Institute of Caribbean Studies to give this lecture. Really unbelievable. And if Dr Carolyn Cooper who inaugurated this institute was still the director, trust me, Cindy would NEVER have been invited. At all.
Watch the first part of the tape: Dr. Cooper was there enjoying everything and participating in the introductions. As Dr. Cooper believes, Bad publicity is better than no publicity at all.
It was wonderful to hear Cindy Breakspeare's obvious love and admiration for the legendary Robert Nesta Marley, and well deserved!! RIP ROBERT NESTA MARLEY!!! GONE BUT EVER REMEMBERED...........JAH RASTAFARI
Why is she doing speeches? She’s very disrespectful to the Marley Family. I see why Rita and her kids, don’t not like nor respect this brazen woman! Cindy is on her second marriage but still seeking relevance from a man that left her a single baby mother at the time of his death which is why she married just two months after his death. I have to respect the other baby mothers who moved on with their lives and aren’t as desperate and attention seeking as this lady. This is no woman to admire or praise. She is a glorified mistress & home wrecker and shame on the university for giving her a platform!
Apparently, a woman is defined by who she has mated with and had a child for. Apart from that, why is Cindy up on a platform? Because she was a pageant winner? That stage would be very crowded. And when will they give the microphone to the other women who were also defined by Bob. Especially other up town light skinned Jamaican women, of which Cindy was hardly the first or the last.
Cindy Breakspeare has got it all..beauty, brains, authenticity and charm. What an amazing woman. Jamaicans have a right to be proud to call her their own. I've been a great fan of Bob Marley all of my life so I salute Cindy for the joy she would have added to his short life
Cindy just gets to have beauty privilege the only woman who ever truly loved Bob was Rita but b.c she is a darkskin woman people tried to treat her live trash,
@@driversseat1707 I think she has that, Rita was messing around too.. Didn’t you hear her say she didn’t know he was married. Did Bob Marley ever really love Rita correctly anyway ! Just asking, because I am sure if he were alive today that relationship between him and Rita would have been obsolete. Meaning nonexistent !!!
@@beverlyjohn6447 The Whole of Jamaica knew Bob was Married….Cindy is saying that to save her disgusting self. Bob remained married even after Cindy gave Birth to their bastard child. Read Bobs mother book, Cindy and her Mother begged Bob to divorce Rita and Marry her. He did Not Do that. Hence why she married quickly After he Died so Her new Husband could raise Damian in a Legitimate Family 🤣🤣
Wow, this was really heartbreaking. When Cindy talks about how Bob was trying to prepare his children for his eventual death...how brave of them all. I wish Bob had gone to Mexico instead of Germany, too, for his final days!
A lot of people don’t realise that after Cindy did this lecture she received MAJOR BACKLASH from Jamaicans and Jamaican press at the time, she got DRAGGED! And rightfully so. Cindy your old enough to take accountability for your actions, you have the right to tell your story but understand that people may not respect IT either! I chose to salute QUEEN RITA MARLEY who is the BACKBONE of Bob Marley and KEEPER of his legacy! The fact is Bob had MANY women but he never divorced Rita..she’s the one we all remember and respect not some proud SIDECHICK!
Yes she Did….People wrote into the Gleaner and Called her all Kinda of Names….Social Media dragged her too. Cindy still receives hate over being the side chick. 40+ years later. Duttty old lady
Good!! How dare this proud mistress stand up there and act like she knew Bob better than his wife of 16 years!!! The same man who wasn’t even present for the birth of your illegitmate son!!!
There are no broken or well-spoken languages anywhere in the world. It is the people who are broken 😢 and until we free our minds from this mental slavery crap. Then, the darkness that we have harbored inside us, will never emerge to see the light of day. ONE ❤💛💚🖤 🇯🇲
Terrific talk about her memories of Bob Marley and her respect for their son Damien. Clearly strongwilled, intelligent, and with self-deprecating humor to boot, Cindy Breakspeare has had a remarkable life and is willing to share her memories and opinions... Thank you from America. Very rarely do people speak with such candor and gracefully so.
Cindy is still beautiful after all these years; it's easy to see what Bob saw in her. Not just her beauty but also she is clearly an intelligent woman and has CHARISMA. Damian is one of Bob's MOST talented musicians and very spiritual Rasta music he produces! I have no idea why Rita tolerated Bob's having other women...maybe she just accepted it because he was an internationally adored musician and many women would flock to him. He has 13 kids for a reason!
Many of you talking had been with married men,Rita dealt with it. Stop judging Cindy, let God be the judge, if you don't sleep with a married man you slept with someone you know is in a relationship. A lot of you breed for married men and abort it so no one would know, leave Cindy alone.
Rita tolerated it because she was doing the same thing!!! Look up bunny Wailers videoclips he calls her nasty dirty jezebel, she was sleeping with Chris Blackwell Bob’s manager and a few other close friends of his!!!
@@stevewinston3265 this is a lie! He is the only pet to make these disrespectful claims. If this was true Bob & his hypocritical mother would have had nothing to do with her. Bunny was just a broke hater, mad because he couldn’t finically profit from the Marley estate like he wanted to.
Thank you, I didn't see him but as small children liveing in Brighton sussex , my sisters and I would listen to Reggae including Bob and the Wailers on vinal, I remember reading the the paper when Bob came to Brighton, Listening to Cindy in this wonderful story was positively one I could relate to also in my Parents Life, also could relate about living in poor people Slum housing Im currently writing a small book about this time. BobMarley has always been close to our Hearts , always will be to us Brightonians and the Reggae influence is still strong today Ann
Why is she even talking about a married man whom she had an affair with and had a kid for. This is very disrespectful to Rita and her children. It would never happen to another woman where the mistress is allowed to do this. What good does this do. I guess there is not much she wants to talk about her own family with her other children and their goings on and connection with criminality in Jamaica,
Because of the old double standard where a man can and should have many women but a woman must only be devoted to one man. Cindy speaks as if the high point of her life was her few years with Bob Marley and her clock stopped ticking when he died. She has nothing to say about her subsequent alliances. This is disrespectful to her other husbands but she knows that her calling card to the microphone is her relationship with Bob.
mmm...mmm..Brilliant!..Cindy is not only beautiful..this speech reveals that she is very smart, charming and humble. Thanks Cindy for giving us another side of the story. Thanks for showing us all that LOVE conquers everything, and for shattering some the social sophistry that prevailed after Bob's death. I really admire the fact that Cindy was able to build that bridge with Rita. Thanks for celebrating Bob's legacy in such an unapologetic and positive manner. ONE LOVE.
Cindy didn't build any bridge with Rit Cindy never liked Rita getting all the attention which is why she tried so hard all these years to get the spotlight on her. She's just been a white woman behaving like white women do when it's a black woman getting the attention and not them.
What kind of bridge was she building when she announced to the world in her first interview after winning the pageant that she missed her Rasta man Bob Marley? That was very disrespectful to his wife.
Cindy has been remarried twice why isn’t she talking about the men who actually married her? What has she done with her life and career post Miss World? Is her only relevance being Bob Marley’s mistress and baby mother? The lack of self awareness is cringe inducing! Bob never divorced Rita Marley for any of these women, being proud about an affair with a married man is not a flex. Damian sitting front row whilst his mother tells her story of being one of his fathers many other women is lowkey embarrassing.
You are very judgmental and small minded. You are obviously not a Bob Marley fan. Your attack on her says a lot. Yes she is not an Angel but not of us mere mortals are. Bob never said or pretended that he was an Angel. He was a man of peace and particularly love. He was not about hate which you are heaping on Cindy. Judge ye and ye shall not be judge.
This lady is completely and utterly delusional, being the Mistress in the story clearly hurts her ego and that’s why she overcompensates into making her affair with Bob into some fairytale “relationship”. The truth of the matter is, Cindy was one of many, Bob was never going to leave Rita for her nor stop seeing his many other women. He left her a single mother with nothing. The Marley legacy was built by Bob & Rita and it’s Rita who deservingly sits on her throne and wears the crown. NOT YOU CINDY! Go focus on the second husband you married.
Was I expecting too much to hear something about the importance to Bob of his visits to Africa in the last year of his life? And if there was such sisterly sharing didn't you meet Pascaline Bongo when she visited him at 56 Hope Road in that year? Yes, Africa loved Bob, and Bob longed for Africa.
Cindy can only speak of an earlier stage in Bob's life when she was with him, along with various other women. By the time Damien was born he paid her off with house and business and she was not to know about his dreams to repatriate to Africa or about the African woman that he loved.
This woman is giving groupie energy. Bob has been dead for so many years and she’s stuck in a moment. I don’t know what kind of man would allow his wife to continue with this behavior after all these years. She still can’t get over the fact that with all her beauty and “alleged” class, like most married men, Bob didn’t divorce his wife and marry her. I think Bob chased her because his ego needed to conquer a woman of her caliber. However, like all the other conquests, he got bored with her after she had the baby. He also slept with some of her friends, so spare me about this great love affair. Bob was a musical dynamo but as a man, husband and father, he left much to be desired. We can appreciate his music and not emulate his ratchet lifestyle. The black community doesn’t need to glorify his poor choices.
If Cindy is a spokesperson for Bob Marley's legacy, how come she made the person who tried to kill him in 1976, be the godfather of Christian, her first child for her husband Tom Tavares Finson, in 1982. Bob knew who his attackers were and so did his close associates. This bond with Bob's enemy is a weird one love bridge.
I just think she’s someone who’s not to reckon with. I also think she’s trying to outdo Rita, with all her “spectacular” speeches. Making the person who tried to kill the man that she claimed she loved, to be the godfather of her child shortly after Bobs death is questionable. Make it make sense.
This is 2024 it's the first time seeing this post on this topic lecture, wow this lady Cindy Breakespear is definitely a amazing woman and mother I never met her but I have highly respect this lady, she's humble and modest beautiful too
33yrs later Cindy. Thank you as we write our own history. A personal history is what we needed. And Damian who I knew from Jacks Hill, to him congrats. Jah Guide
Cindy daughter Leah Tavares Finson is a baby mother to now deceased notorious gangster Dog Paw. Leah is very much a joke in Jamaica. Beauty Queen mother who was Bob Marley’s mistress and Lawyer/Politician father….only in Jamaica 🤣
Rita has said that she accepted the other women as the work of bringing love and peace in the artistic form of music was more important than misunderstandings and shortcomings of man. For that, I have nothing but a respect beyond my own personal understanding of the sacrifice she made for the worlds benefit. As such I see all the women as his muses and out of the immense love of Bob Marley I thank them for motivating him to make timeless masterpieces that have been my soundtrack to life.
Rita Just decided to sacrifice for money, it Was The chance of her life... I would not be surprised if she were involved in bobs death... Other wise he would have had many more children
You guys are silly listening to that story. Chris Blackwell would of made way more money if he was alive. 🙄🙄 Bunny Wailer is bitter because he never reached that amount of stardom. They were all suing the estate for royalties!

The world is always accepting to anyone, and anything that wants to disrespect a black woman.

Queen RITA MARLEY. 1 Mrs Marley. 1 WIFE. 💍
It has these side chicks salty all these years later ! Rita gets di legacy, side chicks get memories of their time as one of many 🤣🤣
The only one that truly matters, Cindy and the others are non factors.
AND RIGHTLY SO.
Bob Marley would not have stayed with Rita if he were alive today. Cindy spoke so eloquently and well versed of her life and time with Bob, and her respect for Rita. One Love !!!!
She should have paid respect to Pascaline Bongo, Bob's African queen at the end of his life.
She is not amazingly beautiful....she has got still a deep, sultry and speaking voice :if she estudied acting, perhaps she would had been a good actress
Orange suites brunet people and she looks wonderful like this hairdo too in my opinion....but i'm asking(i repeat)that children robert nesta marley are glad about it
SINCE WHEN WE GLORIFY SIDECHICKS?
She is more known for being a dead man’s mistress than she is for being Rupert Bent’s wife. Let that sink in.
This comment!!!!!! Poor Rupert!
BEAUTIFUL SPEECH....
One love and respect to u.cindy..am soo proud.of u..nuff respect

🤣🤣🤣 facts!
I've gained so much new insights and understanding from listening to you Cindy Breakspeare. What a lovely spirit, I thoroughly enjoyed this lecture
Major insight from Cindy's lecture is that her bridge with Bob was physical fitness - they did push ups together.
We have learnt that Cindy was indifferent to the South African situation that had other contestants in Miss World 1976 demonstrating against the inclusion of apartheid queens from South Africa and withdrawing from the competition.
Wow - that was brilliant! Very impressed with Cindy. One love.
Very well written speech
Cindy you are not Rita Marley. Give Rita Marley the right to own the legacy of her husband.
One love had number 1, number 2, number 3 and number 3 and number 3, number 4 and number 4, number 5 etc. etc.
This was very interesting because we were all young and curious and one time and we all made mistakes but we learn and grow and that's life.

what a magnificent lecture, such an educated sophisticated lady. enthralling to listen to her wonderful speech, about Bob.
This was GREAT!!! Cindy is well spoken and so eloquent. I loved her wittiness!!! What a homage of love and spirituality to the wonderful Bob Marley!
Cindy has said nothing new about Bob apart from telling us that they were in a relationship during the year that she was a winner of a pageant that supported apartheid in South Africa. This fact makes us question the consistency of Bob's values.
I can't watch this lecture / speech often enough. I adore Ms. Breakspeare.

Yes a true adulterous woman
Excellent lecture a great tribute to an amazing man!

Truth! Jamaica's moral compass is so low...
You are very judgmental and small minded. You are obviously not a Bob Marley fan. Your attack on her says a lot. Yes she is not an Angel but not of us mere mortals are. @@believe1236 IDGAF. She’s still a proud side chick.
Preach 👏👏👏👏
I adore this woman💙🌍
Was I expecting too much to hear something about the importance to Bob of his visits to Africa in the last year of his life? And if there was such sisterly sharing didn't you meet Pascaline Bongo when she visited him at 56 Hope Road in that year? Yes, Africa loved Bob, and Bob longed for Africa.
Cindy can only speak of an earlier stage in Bob's life when she was with him, along with various other women. By the time Damien was born he paid her off with house and business and she was not to know about his dreams to repatriate to Africa or about the African woman that he loved.
By the last year of his life Cindy was out of Bob's life as a bedmate and companion.

Jen M. Bunny wailer said Chris Blackwell gave Rita radioactivity ash to put in bob’s food and drink!!!
You guys are silly listening to that story. Chris Blackwell would of made way more money if he was alive. 🙄🙄 Bunny Wailer is bitter because he never reached that amount of stardom. They were all suing the estate for royalties!
