I took a week by myself last year for the same reason but I only went about half an hour from town I just needed that alone time in the country to recharge. I take weekend camping trips all the time it is how I stay sane. My partner calls it my tree time.
I always find a sentence for the upcoming year, to orientate me by, and remind my of my "goals" (values, whatever I want to bring more into my life), and this year I have made it "self-center". Knowing that it sounds selfish, but also knowing that it is just what I need. We need to make room for us, regain and monitor our energy, in order to be able to do anything good in this world. I usually just escape in my garden, because everywhere else I could go within a few hours is always still full of people, and I really need to get away from humans in order to find my peace and energy. Last year I also had a day off to the sea/beach (the sea calms me down soo much. just staring at the waves...). It's good to get away from everything, we're just so much more densly polulated than sweden is. So it's off to the garden for me. :)
I think you're really on point there and I know many who use that "one-word" strategy, I've used it too but if I can't find one word I usually leave it to the vision board to guide me 😄 I like that you made a statement to pick "self-center", it could entail many meanings I think. Oh yeah, I see. I'm the same. I need people's free space, haha! Fortunately, I have a lot of it now that I live up here (not so much when I lived in Stockholm). Where do you live?
@@JacquelineWester Jag bor i tyskland, i Bremen. ;) Not as crowded as some places, but also not really much space without humans in it. . I use more words to define my vision? mood? ideas? within my bullet journal, but that's a page I only revisit every few month or so. But the one word or sentence an the bord to my room I see every day, and it's simple enough for me to "see". (If it's too full I don't see anything that's on there.) But everyone has to find what works best for them. :)
I see! 😄 Yes there are way more people there than where I live that's for sure! Yes and I think it's important that we all find the method and system that works for us. Non of them are better or worse, it depends so much on you as a person ✨
Thank you! It took a lot of effort in my part and like... rewiring how I was thinking about taking this time. But when I got to it, it was purely amazing! I treasure this so much 🙏✨

Wow I love that! That’s so inspiring to me and I love ”tree time” 😍 do you usually hike or more go somewhere and stay there? ☺️
