Is there any alternative access highway available for this route? Actually we will be travelling from Kolkata to Goa via Hyderabad. We want to complete the whole route in 2.5days(1st day afternoon to 3rd day evening)with single night halt again some place.
You can go via Solapur, that route also has ghat section but little better than this route
Roads are good in karnataka even single road also maintainance very well

Yes, this route was good. You can go without break if you start early in the morning. There is a ghat section near Goa, better to cross that before it gets dark.

You can halt at Bagalkote which is about 430kms and 9hrs from hyd.

Around 17 km/l , it’s Altroz petrol car
It will be very helpful if you share some valuable info like what exactly were the toll charges , how long did it take to cover this 700 kms, what was the average your vehicle gave. What average speed did you maintain. What time is safe if someone is planning a road trip with family and stuff.
I believe I mentioned all these details in this video.
Toll was around 400 for this route
I got around 18 avg in my altroz petrol
On NH I maintained around 100, other roads it was around 80.
Better to start early in the morning around 4am, it will take 14hrs continuous drive to reach Goa. You can also take halt , we stayed overnight in Bagalkote.
I think you took wrong path from belagavi..
Our stay was in assagao , google maps showed this route from belgavi

No, you will have to cross western ghats to reach goa. Go via Amboli ghat which I used when returning from Goa, that road was better than this Tillari ghat road

Why are you saying to the new driver to avoid the road?
There is ghat section for about 10-15 kms with lot of hairpin bends n opp vehicles come very fast. New driver will find it little difficult
