Sir According To Is Code Oven Is Important Thing during Test But you are not using oven in entire period of Test I'm little bit confused What to do at Site
Exactly Deepak IS code says you have to keep the sample in oven before testing at 110 degrees for a period of 24 hours but always it is not possible at site and also in academics, you can take sample which is completely dry and perform the test, if the sample is completely wet or it has water content than strictly you have to keep it in oven, the sample i used in video was fully dry.
I am a passionate teacher who loves to teach students and pass the knowledge, very happy about your comment but I am a small person kindly dont say me GOD, keep watching and sharing, all the very best
This is not according to is code 2386 part 3.... Please do not confused the people.. Explain every things...Please 🙏 Hmare yha bolte hain adhura gyaan dangerous hota hai
Hlw sir
Please tell why sand sample use only 1/4 of hight
Please suggest me IS code for specific gravity and water absorption testing
Don't mind sir, bridge engineering and water tanks, chimneys, shear walls
Excellent sir 👍 thanks you so much
Please, can I know the standard using to obtain the specific gravity using this process?
2386 part 3
In this SSD wt and oven dried wt we don't sir, this is my doubt
It is suitable for coarse aggregate?
Very helpful
Carry on sir with these kind of experiments 🙏
Sure Pankaj, keep watching
Sir please explain specific gravity of coarse aggregates of individuals aggregates for bc mix design
expain kijeye ..
Very helpful video thank you sir ❤️

@@structuralanalysisanddesign Thank you So Much Sir
Sir Can you share your contact or Social ID....I have some problems
we have FB page with same name, contact me there
Oven used for find a water absorbtion
You are nice teachers
Thank you so much, all the best, keep sharing
Thank you Sir 🙏
Most welcome, all the best, keep watching
10mm Sieve also used in both
Nice video sir
Thanks a lot, keep watching and keep supporting
As per IS 456:2000 clause 13.2 the maximum permissible free fall of concrete to avoid segregation is 1.5m or 150mm
Not 150mm this is 1500mm
I dont understand why specific gravity of sand is not used as DENSITY OF SAND DIVIDED BY DENSITY OF WATER like the other.
He is God for students❤

Why specific gravity needed in mix design?
Gjb video sir
Thank you
@@structuralanalysisanddesign sir aap ka number kay hai
Sir ,How many time determine the sp.gravity of fine aggregate in month?
Change of source
Very nice sir
Thanks and welcome
It is better to remove air bubbles using vacuum pump before fully filling the pycnometer + sample with water.
Fill the pycnomiter with water after shaking
Thank you sir...pls tell me "water absorption" formula also sir
why didnt u soak the sample for 24 hrs... why dont u make the sample to ssd condition.. this is wrong broo
Thanks sir 👍👌.
Most welcome, All the best
1.5 metre is the maximum free fall height for concrete
As per latest revision it is 1.8 m
Plz make a video,,,, in Ultimate tensile strength test,,,with calculation.
4.75 mm
Sir video accha h but baground noice bhut aa rhi h 🔥

Why pycnometer why not any vessel filled fully this is just making complicated for an easy experiment. Make it easy make it simple
Its according to standards, check the IS codes
