Just put a "bungee" cord around the steering wheel and set the "Cruse" control. Just wait for a long straight road, jump up and hit the refrigerator, or run to the back to the bedroom, wake up the wife, for her turn to drive.
With practice you should be able to make it back to the "wheel" with no problems.
