If you're in the private sector, just open your eyes and see what the local-foreigner ratio is at your workplace. Just open your ears to listen to the stories of how locals have been "gate kept" by foreigners for hirings and promotions.

No wander so many my PMET Singaporean friends are jobless, TSL should do an explanation as in how to increase job opportunities by converting foreigners to PR, give them a job and consider them as citizen when the true blue citizen go jobless? Also he should show the public how many percentage of true Singaporean are employed and how many are jobless or downgraded to gigs job.
They well deserved it since they were given a chance to change every 5 years.

Most PR onces they grow old, they will sell away their HDB flats, make money from their sales and take out all their CPF money and return to their own country to stay. Why? Because the cost of living in their own country are much much cheaper and lower than Singapore. So please to those people and higher authorities who think that PR foreigners will stay here in Singapore forever, think again. You all are so very very wrong.
