You are correct on the Sanborn Min Max, this was introduced in the early 80's and the concept has been around for a long time. Cleereman Industries introduced the Lumber Pro in 2010, which is a similar concept to Sanborn, but greatly improved. We use a much larger saw for increased production and the Lumber Pro comes as a complete unit that includes everything from the Log Deck, Sub-steel, Waste System, Carriage, Cab, Controls, and Belt. The Lumber Pro is set up, run, and tested at our factory for quick & easy installation at the mill site. The Cleereman Lumber Pro is patented and has been a huge success. Customers like it as a primary break-down machining center. The thin kerf double cut band allows for all breakdown to be done on one machine and eliminates the need for a secondary breakdown. I know this video is old. This concept looks very similar to a Sanborn Min Max 17* skid angle, that was first manufactured in 1983!
