I just bought black 2020. In good sunny day it has all the colors of an opal in the metalflake. Its beautiful paint makimg me bellieve l will be keeping it cleaned and waxed
Perfect for anyone looking to sleep in the car and it’s budget friendly! I wouldn’t sleep in it full time but I’m talking road trips and the beach. I think it would be a good first car for me too! I really want a Jeep Wrangler but they are expensive.
The engine is powerful and good as well. Very economical CROSSOVER. I highly recommend this to everyone. CHEVROLET has been a very great #1 Brand..... The Heartbeat💗🎶🎵 Of America.🇺🇲
I just bought the satin slate. LT model and I love it! Its a 2020. I wish the model I have had the push start but it doesnt. I love the savings on fuel compared to my other vehicle which is a dodge journey. Cute compact car
I was given a Trax -- I think it's the base model AWD, not sure -- as a loaner while my BMW X5 is getting fixed. To be honest I really like it! Love the driving position, roominess, visibility and it just seems overall like a neat little car. I'm so tired of the giant, ponderous X5. The Trax is a little buzzy on the highway but not too bad at all. No problem in terms of horsepower. Though well laid out, I can't say the interior is particular handsome -- I don't know why GM has to make a hash of the inside design in all their cars. Maybe hire someone from Audi -- they may not know how to make reliable engines but they sure as heck know how to make sexy eye-candy in the interior!
I went in for Colorado and they tried to stick me with this car not going to lie was tempted but 2days later and walking away from a 2 day deal I finally got my truck. But this is a nice car
@@ChevyCLE Right yours is a 1.4 liter four cylinder. The 2024 Is a three cylinder. And now they have wet belts Two running in oil that will be a nightmare in a couple of years when they fail, and the engine is ruined. Just Google wet belt problems.
I currently have a 2017 chevrolet trax (20177-current model). I was wondering how do i upgrade the mylink entertaiment system to the latest version? Is there any website that provides the update file?
You do not want to do that. Letting this engine run long while the vehicle is running will ruin the turbo. It needs air flowing over it to prevent it from getting to hot So the vehicle needs to be moving to keep it cool. Remember the turbo is driven by the hot engine exhaust.
Just had a glance over Trax in chevy dealership once but now i have a very clear view of it ! Thanks 🙏🏻 BTW iphone 11 promax is doing well isn’t it?? 😜😜
I have chevy trax 2015. So far it’s a good car. Specially for students. It’s small not too big. But I know it’s chevy which means American Car and after a little I will have problems with that. I had problems after 2 months purchasing the car. The button of the trunk doesn’t work. So...
It's not an American car. It's South Korean. Sure, GM makes it, but it's engineered and produced in South Korea. And why do you assume that since it's made by a US company that automatically you'll have problems? Every company has something wrong with some of their vehicles. Not exclusiive to GM or Ford. We have a 13 escape and never had a problem yet, other than regular maintenance.
The model year doesn't necessary mean there is changes to the vehicle. It has to be titled that for when it is produced. Typically changes happen every 3-5 years.
No I get 8mpg on stops and go. The average is 13mpg city.. I try babying it but you can't.... just gun it.. saves you more fuel.. floor it at stops and goes. I baby it and it gets 8mpg for 300 feet. Floor it and get 8mpg for 20 feet..
@@ChevyCLE The Ecosport is the same size yet the Trax has less HP, torque, and towing capacity. Not to mention the ecosport actually has a center console with ample storage. The seats in the Ecosport fold flatter and you can raise the trunk floor to achieve nearly a perfectly flat surface, not so for the Trax. Also, the price point for the Trax is much higher than a similarly equipped ecosport. What are you getting for spending more for less vehicle?
@@adambomb9452 I went with Chevy Trax because I find Ecosport' s trunk side opening SUPER inconvenient at a supermarket with someone parked behind you.

just bought a 2019 in the same black, beautiful colour with the metalflake just waxed it last week, nice vehicle
There is extra storage under the passenger seat to make up for no center console
And a smaller compartment beneath the light controls 👍

Have you ever considered a used one? We’ve got several certified pre-owned ones at Carlock CDJR of Tuscaloosa!
I feel like this comment is just for me. I want something I can sleep in that's budget friendly. I'm comparing this currently to the ecosport...
Literally just took a road trip and slept at the beach in mine 😝
This blue was the color I wanted but dealer didn’t have so I got LS model in Summit white which I love

Stick your PBS just something else to go wrong. Why can't goddamn young people figure this out. You people are ruining cars for the rest of us.
I wanted red but only white was available, but the interior is all leather and I love how easy it is to clean.
I have the 17 ! Very happy with it ,

I’ll take the engine over the interior 😂😂😂
Not loving how it looks at the back. Hard to find a car that looks good overall. Usually the back looks great - but not the front and vice versa.
thanks for the thorough review! it was super helpful
No problem!
Thank you looking at buying one of these and knew nothing your video was very helpful
Glad I could help

All the reviews I've seen and nobody mentions the Premier model and True North options: AWD, Leather, sunroof and better audio I believe
Premier model just got discontinued.
How do you open the trunk from
The inside
Good review! Thanks!
You got it!!
Love it wish i could of got a 2024 instead but oh well and my 2020 trax is a 3 cylinder not a 4
3 Cylinder was not a thing in 2020. Just on the new body style.

So I just financed a 2020 trax it’s not remote start though.... how can I tell if the vehicle is warmed up or over heating? There’s no gage!!!
It will be under your small infotainment screen. Where you see the tire pressure and oil change life you also see the engine temp.
Chevy CLE I looked through there still didn’t see it... not even on your video
Right I have a 2020 I'm like damn to remote start
I jusr got the 2018 Trax and mine has remote start as well.

Not a problem! I like the Phone a lot! The wide camera mode works great for interior shots.
How big is the back storage? Is the spare tire full size
It's pretty roomy for a small SUV. Much for than Ford Ecosport. The tire is not full size.

Where is the trunk button ??
There isn't one on any of the models
I don’t see anything different from the model I have 2018 ...they need to do better

How’s iPhone 11 Pro?

The Ford Ecosport is superior in every way. Check it out.
Not too sure about that. You get more equipment with the Trax and the Ecosport is smaller with absolutely no trunk.

I see no reason to get a Trax, but Ecoport appeals to me even less.
No spare tire on the Ford. Wet belts as in rubber belts running in oil on the Ford. When they break and they will your engine will be toast.
