Thanks mate. For real. My luck lately has been bad. Bad bad. Like living in the backseat of my challenger bad because I had a slumlord who sold my house while I was living there with no warning. Took me weeks of battling Diablo sport to get my pcm and tuner. Uploading tune now at 66 percent. Let's pray. I did a read on the stock pcm before I installed new one.

ALSO, whenever flashing a new tune onto your car it automatically does a backup of the previous tune!

Can you settle my nerves about adding a Diablo tuner. I’ve read a lot on Challenger forumz about cars running to rich or to lean and tuner causing knock. Have you experienced any issues? I’m running a 2022 5.7 Shaker. Not concerned about warranty. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
I have experience no issue with the diablo tuner. Only time i can see someone having an issue like that is if they are messing around with fuel tuning when they dont have any experience. I wouldnt worry!
Man. I placed the obd2 port into the car and the tuner doesn't even turn on. It turns on when I use the charger port for upgrades. This is my 2nd one. Smh

Can anyone help me understand what the heck is going on? I even plugged up my code reader into my obd2 port and it comes right on but not my diablo tuner

You’ll need the unlocked PCM but this will work for you!

yes it did
can I disable my MDS (cylinder deactivation) as part of the tune?
Yes you can, but its not something that is done with the set tunes that comes with the tuner, you have to edit the tune and disable it. Very easy to do, ive done it myself!
Hey man nice video im about to get one of these in a few days. Was it easy to update the the tuner? Like can you use Wi-Fi only if you don't have a laptop or computer?
You need to have it hooked up to a computer to the best of my knowledge. I could be wrong tho, google it just to be sure
I just got it today and I did need a computer but i was able to use my Xbox but damn after I updated it and applied the 93 tune that definitely woke her up! It's like driving a muscle car now with that b.s. mds disabled

Which additional license for $149 is for another Chrysler tune ? On the app it clearly list Ford , gm, but the other days Dcx something? Looking to tune two Chrysler hemis 2013 with same I 3 tuner (8345) ???

Does the Diablo tuner void your lifetime warranty on a dodge 2013 challenger
Really depends on the dealer, but No the tuner will not void the warranty, only if they can prove that the tune caused a failure of the engine could it cause the dealer to refuse to repair at their cost anything covered under warranty. So in my opinion, if you're worried about it and value the warranty more than you would a tune, dont tune your car. If you dont really care about the warranty tune away!
Hey bro. For some reason I felt more power with my stock TCM tune with the Diablo tune! Do you have the performance TCM tune or stock? How does it feel to you?
I have custom tunes for both PCM and TCM
I have a 2011 rt charger that’s stuck in eco mode. Drives horribly. I’m assuming this would be a good investment for that..
It couldn’t hurt. But you may have other issues to. I’d get it checked out professionally.
My car has a warranty but I’m going to still to get the tune & unlock pcm, but Before I take my car back to the dealership for any check up , I will need to put the factory tune back on there and change the pcm back to the original one ?????
You will just need to swap the PCM's

To stop the tune do u have to plug Diablo sport back in? How do u turn tune off?
every time you install a tune, the tuner does a backup of the previous version. All you have to do is flash the previous version (the stock tune) and it will go back.
What if you added one of them "octane Booster" along with the diablo tune??
You mean like a fuel additive or something?
Will the stock 93 tune on the Diablosport work with a larger throttle body and Hellcat intake tube or is there an option to adjust in parameters?
It shouldn't be a problem for the base 93 tune. The only thing that im aware of as far as change in anything throttle related within the tuner is called "Throttle Boost" which ive got maxed out on my car and not to sure i noticed much of a difference lol. If you would like to be sure a tune is perfectly fitted for your car specifically, contact someone who does tuning that can send you a custom tune for your car like hemifever or jay greene. This is what im looking into currently myself.

I don't believe you can alter either of those within this tuner, i could be wrong. That might be something a professional tuner could take care of tho!

Is this Diablosport I3 tuner require no autoshop assistance? Like can i tune this by myself easily. Like you did yours easily
I did everything myself and you can too! depending on the year of your vehicle you may need to do the pcm swap which is the hardest part usually! no autoshop needed!

New to all of this so with that being said .. what are the improvements with tuning ur car to 93 ? And if I tune it to 93 does that mean I can ONLY put 93 in my car from that point on ? I have a ‘13 Charger rt so I’m just trynna get my knowledge up ... thanks a lot &

Basically what tuning your car with the 93 Octane tune is going to do is take what came from the factory and squeeze out some extra Ponys that the factory didnt want you to have and tweek some things that better suit your car and your driving needs! The 93 Octane tune is good for around 20 HP and 20 Torque.
And to answer your question, Yes you have to run 93 on a 93 Octane tune! Hope this info helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

This tuner will work on your car BUT keep in mind you do need the unlocked PCM aswell being your car is 2016. check out the links in the video description they will lead you to what you need!

I dont think you can do e85 tunes just with the i3, you might have to get a tune from someone and you can use the i3 to install said tune. Dont quote me on this though.

Do you have to download the 93 tune ? I don’t see it on mine (2018 pcm swap challenger R/T) trinity tuner.
It was there for me. Make sure everything is up to date.
I’m a dummy. The “Diablo tune” is the 93. Shame there isn’t a button to turn off ESC still

@@CarBlindyt Doing a 91 tune cause 93 isnt as accessible near me. Not sure what specifically Ill mess with. I have a CAI and running straight pipes from the cats. I may get a hemifever custom tune. Im new to the whole tuning thing.

I am loving it! I have an 08 charger rt got a custom hemifever tune and hollllyyy shit does it wake the beast. Its amazing and makes a huge difference..

@@designerdodgesrt8gang911 Ive done all my tuning through diablosport and i cant say one bad thing about them, so thats who i suggest but do some research on it if youd like and see what would best fit your needs. But diablosport would 100% work for you!
did you log the stock tune as a backup from your stock PCM before you switched it out w/ the unlocked PCM?

This may contribute a little to backfire but just the 93 octane tune wont give you much backfire. you would need a good exhaust system and a specific tune to help with that

my car was completely factory upon doing this! All i needed was the unlocked PCM to be able to tune, which always isnt the case!

Awesome! I personally did notice a difference in speed in my car.... Plus i can prove it because my 0-60 speed went down ;). Thank you for commenting on the video, it really means a lot!

@@thatbeetusguy I've boosted my throttle response, turned off the feature that kicks into 4 cylinder mode when driving and a few other things. I have a few more things i want to try but i've been doing some research first before i try for myself lol
@@CarBlindyt is it true that you have to have a 180 tstat to run the tune? I heard diablo tuners lower your temps innthe canned tunes.
@@thatbeetusguy you don't NEED it no. I think youd only need that if you want to lower the temp your fans kick on. Im not 100% sure you even need that tstat for that, it should just be something you can adjust within the tune

@@cautiontext Im currently going through this problem as we speak. I have a custom tune from Johan @ diablosport on the car where he has already helped with the throttle latency. But i just bought the Roar Pedal for the car, and it was a "shoot yourself in the foot" kinda situation it seems for me. Still trying to figure it out myself LOL. Ill be posting a vid on it this week in fact.

Hey bro I have a Chrysler 300 5.7 2006 I’m running 87 octane no tune I’m thinking of getting a Diablo sport but I don’t get it do I have to have 93 octane in my tank before the tune and run it for a while or download the tune and then put 93 octane?
Run your tank to empty, fill with 93. Do that w times to make sure youve flushed all that 87 out and then download the tune.
Can I just put the tune in without sending my pcm away.
If your car is 2015 and newer you need the unlocked PCM to do any tuning.

The 93 tune gives u more torque or more mpgs because in my Jeep gladiator I felt like my mpgs were better on 93 octane Wich is what I pump into it then when I use the mpg booster tune??

The 93 octane tune give a boost of Torque and horsepower (around 20 each) with the expense of your MPG. I personally barely noticed a difference in my MPG tho.

You bet! Mine was stock. The only thing you need to take into consideration is if your car is 2015 or newer, if so you will need a unlocked PCM. I have other videos on such things on my channel if you'd like to check them out! Let me know if you have any further questions i'd be glad to help!
