I recently rewatched Corny's Raw debut. Bobby the Brain made Cornette an instant top guy the way he was so excited & hyped him up calling Jim the greatest manager alive! It made Cornette legitimate in the eyes of the WWF fans who may have never seen him..

The history between the Harts and Yokozuna would be him Owen and Yoko tagging together and being members of Camp Cornette.
As a guy who watched wrestling every week back then and in high school WCW was must watch TV. 1996- most of 1998 WCW was amazing. The finger poke of doom and bringing back The Warrior pissed everyone off.

For all the ahem "questionable " things Sunny has done , Its stuff like this that makes me still love her ! She REALLY did love the wrestling biz . And thats probably in great part to Candito . And for sure Jim breaking her in (not like that !!!! sickos ) to the biz !
I really feel bad for her, yeah she fucked up, but she's human like we all are.
She really did love the business, especially if she put up with the shit she says she did.

Tammy was right after 20+ years no one said Poor Sunny. Where could she go after Shawn alleged publicly she was screwing her way up the ladder? WWF could’ve used her to do interviews, do funny skits and cut promos but they wanted to push Sable. Her career died when she left WWF and she probably could’ve done tv, not as a main star but a recurring role.
I'd definitely like listening to insight into stuff from the past instead of just reviewing shitty wrestling of today. I liked this podcast alot better when it was Cornette answering questions.

In the summer Yellowknife Canada gets 19 + hours of daylight, it’s not uncommon to see tinfoil taped on bedroom windows. In the winter it’s completely dark outside by 4 pm and the sun does not show itself until 10am and it’s cold really cold -55 Celsius sometimes that’s daytime high

Its funny, while Australia is hot shot to shit for various reasons (that might be a good topic for Jim and Brian to go into by the by, depending on their knowledge. Cricket on TV kod it back in the day etc) the micro of it reminds me of the territories more than an indy scene... It's not, but a lot of the thing Jim talks about missing from wrestling; heels, faces, crowds of families and old people... somehow those things remain (or did last time I checked).
Used to film shows in Mt Gambier, South Australia, there was an elderly couple who'd come to the exhibitions talking about how they use to watch the classics back in the day.
Its the little things, heartwarming.
