I have this seat and had your problem on my first ride. I bike for leisure and tend to sit back. I adjusted the tilt to almost being level (I actually put a level on the seat). I also raised my handle bars so I'm more upright. This upright stance is actually how most people cycled where I grew up.I think the amount of tilt that might work for you depends on your body and seat post angle on your bike frame. I enjoy riding on this seat now. Good luck!
I can tell just by looking at it that it wouldn't work for me. I use the elongated nose on regular seats as a tactile indicator of my butt placement on the saddle. If your husband wants a really comfy saddle, I'd recommend the Brooks B67. Wide enough for upright riding and once broke in, very comfy. I run one on my Kona Splice.
Ya my husband didn’t like the way he was sitting on it and couldn’t sit differently. Good to know we will check it out for him. Do you think it will be comfy without the padded shorts?
@@NatalieJackson I've got an iron butt so I'm not the best judge in that regard. However, I've found these seats to be at least as comfortable as any others I've sat on and they only get better with age. I've two bikes with them, my Kona and my old Schwinn Le Tour. The Schwinn has the B17 cut-out on it. I like them both. Your husband might like the B67 short as well.
@@NatalieJackson I love it. It's light, stiff and has a nice central cutout to relieve soft tissue pressure. It's also a short-nose saddle which works well. I would not recommend using it without bib shorts though.
I've thought about getting into cycling. You've done several leggings try on and recommendations... can you do the same for cycling gear? I would love to know some examples to get.
Awesome video!! Very informative and enjoyable
Thank you so much! I am glad it was helpful

As someone who uses the Bontrager Aeolus Pro saddle, this thing looks so alien to me, lol.
Never tried that saddle before. Is it good? Do you like it?

@@EricWohnigawesome. Good to know! Ya it won’t work for my husband then haha he will never wear the padded shorts 😅
why why? wearing padded shorts seems weird but is so much more comfortable then a giant seat.
My husband will never wear them haha 😅. He prefers giant seat over wearing padded shorts
