Watching August walking with his little sister giving her a pep talk was one of the most adorable things I have seen❤ August you are such an AWESOME big brother is so many ways, great job in encouraging your little sister and spending quality ski time with her❤
Adia tripped and fell and then apologetically said to her big brother: I didn’t not supposed to do that😊. What a manner, we could all learn something from this cute four year
As I already mentioned in other comments, that‘s pretty the same way me and my brothers grew up, in the middle of a skiing area in the austrian alps… parents who lead us through many situations but letting us make our own experiences also with risks and consequences!!! We learned so much for our lives in thosr days and now as my children are adults I see that this thing works for generations!!! Thank you for sharing those moments with us!!!
I really wish I got to ski more as a kid. I'm from a Hockey family, and also non skiers. The first skiing I really experienced was a couple high school ski trips, and not much else beyond dismembering our GT snow racers and strapping the runners to our boots. Fast forward to today, I'm married to a gal from a Nordic country of natural skiers, now living in the Rockies, and being blessed enough to live near a spectacular ski facility like Fernie. You guys remind us of our old neighbors who got us back into skiing. They invited us to the local hill back in Ontario and ever since we've got that ski bug. Pow days are what make us tick, now, we watch the weather like hawks. Once you get the taste, there's no going back. We moved clear across the country in an RV with 3 cats, just to chase that dream. Looking back tho, I really wish the ski hill is where more family time could have been spent, if any at all. Your kids are exceedingly lucky to have this experience growing up. It's an amazing family activity. Your videos are a living example of what I missed out on, and I watch vicariously. Kudos.
I found it quite funny to hear a little kid, August, giving a littler kid, Adia, the when-I-was-your-age talk. Nevertheless, it is cool that he seems to be embracing the role of mentor.
❤ great advice and parenting style in a world which coddles where it shouldn’t and doesn’t where it should. Based and lovin’ it from San Antonio! (Yes-we’re skiers in Texas!!!!)
Can't believe I wasn't already subscribed... I fixed that issue though. I also grew up without any bubble wrap, solo hiking through forests before I was 10 years old, climbing cliffs and tall trees, riding dirt bikes, working with tools, etc. I had my fair share of injuries, stitches, and broken bones, but I learned to be tough and always get back up and keep going. Awesome to see your kiddos out enjoying nature with the freedom to explore, make mistakes, and learn how to bounce back from whatever life throws at them. Great parenting!
I love your family, August is so kind to his sister. He is so amazing at skiing the way he does at his age.

August is really a good big brother. Both of his brother and sister love him and trust them. It seems they’ve never challenged him
