I do the min/max method with my daily steps and exercise. It works really well for me because if I'm feeling like I've gotten behind for the day or just don't have the energy it becomes my lifeline. It helps me not to break a promise to myself and I feel accomplished.

That one about having in case of emergency content has worked wonders for me this year! Between managing my home with 3 kids, running a business and wearing all the other hats I do, I’ve tapped into my emergency content often. No one needs to know!

This video came at the right time. I simplified how I created content and made a small investment (paid platform) to help me. I just batched enough content for a week, and it only took me a couple of hours - which is not a lot considering the type of educational content I made. Thanks for the tips!

The thing about the posting frequency, for me, is that I go on each site every day as a user. Some of the people I follow post so so often that it gets a bit annoying. IG storying "hey I posted a post" every single day. Or the same thing everywhere, every day. I want to post more often but don't want to bore people into not looking anymore.

  • @ruth1642

I definitely agree with your tips there. As soon as I went, "this is how much I can do each week and if I do that then I have succeeded (irrespective to what the IG algorithm wants)" I found it much easier to keep consistent. Also I agree with you in regards to having the backup content to post. Although one tweak I would say to that tip is, don't put pressure on yourself to go quick content has to be something that can be done quick in say in 5-10 minutes. As in I know for me, my quick backup content might take me a good few hours to create. But in the grand schemes of things that is quick when put into context that my main content might take 24 hours+ to create. Whatever you are creating should always be put into context with what is expected within your niche and what type of content you are making.

I've been struggling to just do one a week on youtube lol! Was focusing on two SEO type videos and two "for my audience" type videos a month but I think the SEO videos are too much for me right now. I've been thinking on how to make my content easier to make so I don't have such a rough time. I'm too slow at editing and it eats up all the time! Good tips here will definitely try and simplify.
