    Having listened to this conversation, I now understand why Ben Macintyre's books are so readable. He is thoroughly listenable, as well. He clearly loves his topic, and all of us readers benefit. Thank you, Waterstones!

    The Seige is the best book I've ever read...it reads like a thriller

    Locke was an understated man. Not usually a fan of the Met, but he exemplified the best of british policing. He knew his role was to be a rock & wait his chance. Respect.
