The 96-count box of crayons included neon carrot, which BTW wasn't included in the 16-count box of fluorescent crayons bc it was replaced with black, which children could use to make their drawings stand out
Very interesting.
Black is not even flourescent
I love fluorescent art supplies in general, so it was great to see what crayola has had over the years!
As a suggestion, it might be interesting to compare them under a black light, as a way to see better the difference in fluorescence
Thanks for the great info! Love your videos as always
I will do this. Great idea!
Awesome!!!! Thank you, Crayon Queen! ❤️🖍️ 👑
Haha thanks!
In the late 80s I was obsessed with these, searching all the shops with my parents trying to find them..thanks so much for sharing this❤️😊
In late 1983 I wanted these, but my mom wouldn't let me have them bc I didn't have a blacklight. It wasn't until Christmas Eve of that year that I got a blacklight and a pack of Crayola Fluorescent Crayons. The next day, Christmas Day, I got a duplicate pack of fluorescent crayons
They changed the names of all the fluorescent crayons. For example, what used to be chartreuse is now laser lemon, and what used to be ultra blue is now blizzard blue
They did.
Magic mint was the best
So was blizzard blue 🎷, Liz.
It was!
@JC Maybe, just maybe.
Awww i missed magic mint too 😭😭😭😭
@@JennysCrayonCollection which color was introduced when magic mint was retired
I love crayola crayons and coloring books and pages to
Wow, I can’t believe that people actually voted to keep burnt sienna but I’m so glad they did. Maybe it’s not as exciting of a color to others but it’s one that you use a lot. There’s a ton of blues and reddish-pinks.
I have 96 crayons & i got Wild Blue Yonder
ah i love sunglow
I never knew Magic Mint and Blizzard Blue existed. Too bad they were retired too soon.
Really wish they’d bring back the glow in the dark crayons.
me too
In the flourescent i got sky blue in the pack instead of purple pizazz
Jenny i actually got a 208 piece art set and 1 colored pencil got lost......
And i got a 24 pack of crayola crayons from the usa and the box is from the 2010's and when i opened the box the color blue green broke the tip and the color yellow falled down and it broke the tip
I have a 96 box but the sharpener and the box are broken
Do you now those crayons are in the 120 box
Not all of them
unmellow yellow is probably the most forgotten by crayola
I thought fluorescent had something to do with light so technically unless seen under black light, human eyes could not see, this was the reason they changed to “neon”. I could be making this up, but I thought I learned this somewhere 😂!!
That would make sense
ichworm and wild blue yonder is not going to cut it >:(
I got flourescents in the 96 count 1993
I got a neon crayons but flourscnet It's a old name of neon
That’s awesome.
In the box of neon crayons, not all of them were neon
No it’s weird.
My favorite color is red
It’s a great color!
I wish those colors were in color pencils instead myself they are beautiful
There are a few available in colored pencils.
hksks

"Pa'uhnt"? Are you from Utah?
I am. what word did I say?
@@JennysCrayonCollection: For the word "patent" (see above), you said "PA (short) * uhnt" instead of "PAT (short) * uhnt," So I thought, "Ha! I think she has Utah accent!" I just live in Orem! Which city do you live in, if you don't mind my knowing?
Oh my heck, are you my "double-cousin" Jenny Oaks Baker, the famous violinist, doing this in your spare time between practicing and performances (though I'm not sure how you'd have time to do both and keep the violin quality so high, but I suppose it's still possible)?!

Swatch 152 crayola crayons
On my list.
Oh wait I’ve already done this one.
@@JennysCrayonCollection I saw your video sorting 152 crayola crayons
@@JennysCrayonCollection Yes
I found a box of the Fluorescent Color in our basement. Now I just need a blacklight.
Let me know how it turns out.
Hmm, dumb that they dissed some of the old standby ultras in favor of some lame brown. Also dumb that they call those "neon" now. Neon is only red.
I miss them.
@@JennysCrayonCollection: Yeah, me too, I hope they'll bring them back in a few years! I don't use crayons much, and I do have the special 64-packs with _just_ Blizzard Blue and _just_ Magic Mint, but I either didn't know or care to do the same with those other two colors that were ditched in '03.
I wish they would at least keep a small line running of all the colors that were widely discontinued in order to include them as part of their Ultimate pack (or like if they were to have a "Super ALL Colors!" pack)! They could just say something like, "You can still get our "retired" colors in one or both of the following ways: 1: buy them as part of our Ultimate Pack/Super ALL Colors pack, or 2. in a large-quantity same-color pack.
