I got this drone as a Christmas gift last year. I love how small it is. It takes amazing photos. The video quality is amazing. This is a great choice for someone that wants to get into using one.
Agh wow yeah that phone-less controller would definitely be a game changer. Still waiting for a subject follow function! And I also totally forget to take photos with my drone too. Luckily remembered a few times on my trip this summer though.

if youre a beginner and dont neccesarily care about having the highest quality possible, the mini 2 is still a very great option, especially for the price. the camera quality is still very good, but it is not the best compared to other dji drones. the mini 3 and the mini 3 pro clearly have better cameras, but youre going to pay for money for those. the mini 2 will get you in the sky and give you flying experience so maybe one day when youre more comfortable you can invest in a more expensive drone. get the fly more bundle!

If you are smart you don't need the collision avoidance stuff I had never flown a drone or even really touched one before I got my DJI mini SE and now 2 years later and 1000's of hours of flight I have never crashed it or put it into a place where I needed the sensors to take over if it had them. It's the same as driving a car really don't rely on the safety feature to keep you safe keep yourself safe

The mavic mini 1 has it so I guess that this one as well, just dont forget to put the return to home height high enough so it cant hit anything on the way back as it doesnt have sensors in the front

Justine! Did you have any issues taking it through Hawai? (Aside from taking the batteries in a lipo bag) Any restrictions or permissions you had to ask for? Just curious cause my and the wife's Hawai trip is coming up and I'm packing up my M3Pro to take with!

It's crazy all the money that we spend for these drones, and they don't even come with the wall block for charging. DJI needs to do better
Does this drone have a locate home button where it will send it self back home when the battery gets too low?

very bad battery life only last max 25 minutes not same as advertised just to make clear because tryed 3 batteries and regarding to DJI its normal.
