I watched it in our local cinema yesterday and was completely blown away by the epic shots, storytelling, grading and cinema experience. This made this Video even more exciting.😍
I searched "how to get that Tenet look on resolve" 4 weeks ago after watching Tenet and was gutted to find no video. My prayers have been answered. Informative video 👌Thanks Waqas!
I saw 2 days ago in Hungary/Budapest. The Theaters is open here. This film is blow everything, for me at this time the joker was the NO1, now the Tenet blow my eyes. I don’t see movie like this before, the imax 70mm film and the modern color grading is so dope, the story is also blow my mind. This is the film of films. Traditional photography, no cgi and no green screens, everything is real in the film. So awesome!!!!!
Hi, Qazi I randomly came across your channel on TH-cam and started learning color grading. Though I don't claim myself to be a professional yet I have reached a level where I predict almost 90% of times the exact steps while following your tutorials. The biggest lesson learnt to me is that, "The artist must have the eyes to read colors on screen". You can achieve these eyes only by practicing because practice is the hardest part of learning. it is beyond words to see someone delivering his heart and soul to make you understand. How come all this knowledge is free? Anyhow stay blessed, keep growing. All my prayers are with you.
Doesn’t even know Da Vinci resolve and not much idea on color grading , but still watching , very Informative and love to watch your videos ❤️ Keep going 💥
Have been waiting for another tutorial for so long! Really the best guy to learn from in YT hands down. But rest up Qazi you are making me worried why are you working until 2 AM ;)
Thanks Alot Bruv, been learning a lot from your videos and each time I learn something new. Love your tutorials, saving up to do your course 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 more power to you💪🏻
@@theqazman I feel you brother. Please be patient, its worth waiting. I'm now on chapter 2 (c200) of FCM btw ;) Love the course and im just at the tip of the iceberg. Its hard to learn but i will put in the work!
Be cool to try an old, classic Technicolor film. The bold colors, heavy grain...something which isn’t modern teal/orange. Try and achieve a vintage film look.
Just watched one of your webinars... WOW! So much valuable information. I can't wait to get busy! As a new guy in the film industry, there is so much I can share with my customers now. Thanks for sharing this indispensable info.
Saw TENET two days ago (in France) and it is awesome. I prefered Inception and Interstellar but incradible nonetheless. As for Parasite : totally agree with you. I saw it in Cannes (at the official premiere screening for the Festival) and then back again in a regular theater and 4K Blu-ray and amazing everytime ! So YES for the tutorial(s) about the Parasite looks !
Hello, I have a question as a beginner learning to color grade. I saw you started the grading by manually adjusting the exposure and contrast etc... Some people told me that it is necessary to transform the LOG images into proper color space footage (like LOG to rec709) before adding creative adjustments I want to know that is that a legit thing, or a must ?
Amazing work and appreciate the time you take to explain the how and why aspects of the work you do. Thank you. Coffee and color grading this morning. 🔥🙏🏽👊🏽👌🏽
Hey, new sub here :) I've noticed that you grade from Log footage without doing any sort of color conversion to Rec709 beforehand. Is there a reason for that? Is color conversion unnecessary when performing a full color grade like you always do?
Oh thank you so much for your reply, can you please show us a video on how to import an xml or edl file and to confirm with the raw footage?? Or juat share me the link if you have already did this... Thanks again sir...
Hi, a huge fun and a beginner from China. Just wonderring should I put a REC.709 LUT in a node and then do the corrections OR just shart start grading. That confused me for long time. Looking forward for your reply and have a good day😀😀
If you don't want the palette or scopes reading the black bars - you can simply use the cropping tools on the color page. It's just on the input blanking, lower the vertical untill you strat cropping into the actual image. Should give you cleaner scopes and palettes. Also stops you from grading the black bars. Or work in the correct resolution project/timeline.
first of all congratulation on your 100k subs! keep up ur great artwork. question and request: why do you tackle clips in a different way? can we go the same way with every clip? And when you explain like gamma up, lift down, and gain up can you say why did you particularly gamma up and lift down? would be more clear as crystal !!!

Sick video as always. All your content, whether unboxings, reviews, livestreams, all has this standar you exemplify halfway through the video; when everything was like correct, and you went one step ahead to make it cooler and more detailed. Awesome video. Would maybe love to incorporate like an overhead view of how you use the new panel simultaneously. I know that sometimes is difficult to accomodate everything in the screen to fit, but I think that could be cool. Cheers bro!
Happy birthday Ghost! Tenet was a beautiful looking film but suffered from Nolan's lack of heart and humor. He seems to want to confuse the audience and focus completely on the intellectual aspect of film making. He seems to write very robotic and lifeless characters. Also his female characters, and the dead wife thing that he seems to obsess on makes me wonder about his relationship with his wife, and mama! lol In all, a beautiful looking movie and it was great to go back to the cinema after all of this time! Saw it in IMAX in Vegas. Would love to hear what you think! If you get some time, a quick recommendation: HBO's Euphoria directed by Sam Levinson, and shot by Marcell Rev. The best cinematography and color I may have ever seen! You would love it! Keep up the great work dude!
