True dedication again - working through the Christmas period!😄 As John Hooton says, you must be doing these in your sleep now! I'm still fascinated by the detail that Tamiya put into these. There is no clutch of course, so will it change gear on the move, or is it more like a traction engine, needing to be stopped for a gear swap? You're going to need a big space to run these trucks in.😄 Good wishes for the New Year!🥂
Thank you S&J for your kind words. There is a lot of detail in these trucks. I have never tried changing gear while moving, simply as you say you need a lot of space. I would not like to try just in case it strips a gear. So select and go would be the preferred method for myself. Good wishes for the New Year back at yeah 🥂
You should be quite the expert by now on building gearboxes the amount you have put together, always amazes me with how complex they really are all hidden away, have you decided on the paint job as yet? 👍👍🎅🎅
Hi John, thank you for comments its most appreciated. There is a lot going in these trucks that you don't really see once there built. They paint job, The more I look at the yellow, I kind of think that's what a recovery truck colour should be, However I have fully made up my mind
Another great build, mate.
