I just got the basic plastic version with steel gearbox, it's getting Heng Long's double link, rubber pad tracks and metal rollers as soon as they get here from China, have a speaker upgrade coming from parts express too, considering adding a Class D amp to the mix.

Interesting. I think you have the ESS system in your TRX4 Defenders? How does this GT Power item compare? I run the ESS One, but it is a bit of a faff to change engine sounds via the software. This looks easier, although a list of the sounds in the instructions would clearly be helpful.😄 It certainly has a great sound for the Volvo.👍

That's turned out really nicely! A very smart piece of kit, I love the wooden floor. The retracting legs are great fun, I'd be everlasting hooking up and un hooking, just to see them work.😄 Like the posh new intro by the way.👍

Awesome job!!! I have converted on Bruder to work with my Tamiya trucks (video on my channel), but I did not cut the chassis. I am building another trailer now, and I am planning on extending it. What did you use to cut the trailer?

you're taking off the sprocket, there was no need to remove the idler, also did you check to see if a bearing would fit inside the plastic housing like the do on the Buldog?

In true Tamiya tradition, it is just like the real thing, only tiny! Looks good!👍

It's certainly an intricate build! I meant to say last time that I love that little electric screwdriver you have - the "limited" torque is ideal for the sort of stuff I do on our Traxxas vehicles. Do you have details of where you got it? Looking forward to the next part now👍
