I didn't like it during the final.. but that was because I couldn't make out anything he was saying throughout. Listening to the studio track and watching semi final performances that isn't an issue and now I really like it. So I think either the sound guys messed it up or it was the tv speakers not handling this track well for some reason... which is a shame cause I may of given them a vote.
I love this song. Such a great mixture of dark pop and industrial sound. It's definitely in my top 10 and on regular listening rotation. Can't wait to see the Liverpool staging. I'm betting it will be out there. Thanks for your review.
I'm not from Serbia but I love this song. My top 3 this year is 1 Armenia, 2 Serbia, 3 Finland. Serbia was also my winner last year, so this is a great streak in my book! Now that you mention it, I want to look up those techno operas he apparently did to see if there's any parts I can watch on youtube. I don't think Serbia will do top 10 this year but I hope this does well.

He got very lethargic playing video games during the pandemic and was wondering is it him or is someone is controlling him like in a video game. It is also about global consciousness, we all have some form of escape from the crazy world outside. But it is not good, he doesn't want it to continue this way. Therefore the monster is unplugged in the end.

It addresses the younger generation's pick of virtual world over the physical one, and their indifference towards things that are happening in the physical world.
