Thanks for an inspiring video. I hadn’t realised that Hotham was that high or that the climb out from wtf was 17% I my Garmin was slightly off on both. Mt Hotham by 140m! Didn’t know its max gradient was that steep! Good to see signs up with the details. I had the privilege of doing it in 2019. 4 years after suffering a burst fracture to my T12. Saw a video promoting peaks just after I got out of hospital. It became an obsession to achieve from that point. Don’t it feel great to conquer that brute!
Thank you. Well done - those climbs are serious. Mt Hotham goes on forever with the first third and last third extremely tough. And the first 10-12km of the Back of Falls torturous- particularly if you have 199km & 3300m in your legs!

Richard, it is a Caledonia - (not the 5). Ultegra Mechanical. Love it. Not my orginal plan, but in the Pandemic was looking for a 58inch with certain spec. This was available. Got lucky!
@@outbackbound Thanks for the prompt reply. I have gotten too old for my Giant Propel and am definitely going to upgrade. Looking at the Giant TCR or the Merida Scultura. I find both comfortable and wallet friendly!
