He asked for evidence of Ali ibn Abi Talib who has so many writings and sermons written down by his contemporaries at the time he wrote them. Also the son of Uthman wrote a biography of the Prophet, so he was a contemporary of Uthman (being his own son) and wrote about him. I mean there's literally so few historical figures from that time with this much solid evidence of their existence
And also, the time when Hazrat Uthman was martyred while reciting Quran, his blood fell on that Quran and tht Quran is still preserved somewhere but id remember the place where it's preserved, I read that in an Islamiat syllabus book when I was studying in school

This is your personal choice, as an Afghan a brother in Islam and a brother in humanity, I'm stateless, all of Afghan misery and destruction since 1979 Soviet invasion, were all in the name if Islam, I left my parents in the age 7, I moved houses lived with various relatives moved to Europe at the age of 13 alone without any parent or relatives 😢 I faced many difficulties in life, I lost my childhood to war destruction misery abuses physical and emotional, to the point that once in Europe I never prayed for many years, the only thing I regret for the rest of life, but I never disbelieved in Allah as my Lord "creator" of the world and Muhammad as prophet of Allah. I fasted Ramadhan always but I'm blessed that Allah has guided me to become firm in my faith and practice in 2010 at the age of 25. My advice is it doesn't matter you do but never ever disbelieved in Allah and his messenger, it is for your own good in the life after death. If you do mountain ⛰️ of bad deeds commit sins, Allah forgives if you sincerely repent before death but to die as unbeliever, you have nothing to stand on and no hope of any help in hereafter. May Allah guides all ameen
